I want to try this out, but I can't lose my raiders or pretty much any other enemies, since most NPCS and creatures in my game have mods associated with them to improve their numbers and/or varieties. If a version of this mod could exist with them added in, not replacing anything, I would be downloading that instead of saying this.
Granted, the title does say "rule", which doesn't insinuate that they share their kingdom, so I may be expecting the wrong thing from this mod. It looks great, otherwise.
This does the same thing that the ghoul mod did, all raiders and enemies are changed. Now they are scary and big, some really way too big. It is fun for a change of pace but I can't keep it in my usual mod list, I miss the raiders. Now if this added those bugs instead of replacing enemies that would be cool.
what i remember is almost the exact same concept and it was not a very good mod, as it effected every NPC in the game, however it seems this is the same mod only it looks like it only effects the bugs and mirelurks.
i like the concept, however i don't like that not only are they bigger but crazy fast, because you would think the bigger the slower they are, but i wonder if you can give them a kind of rumble effect as they walk.
imagine a situation where there is dense fog and it's near night time visibility is low and you can hear these rumbles in the distance of the bigger creatures that walk about the landscape, and on occasion you can also hear shreeking of these creatures of them fighting and with occasional gunfire and explosion's people screaming in agony as they die in the distance, which makes the player become very cautious and have to sneak around to avoid the creature smelling or hearing them as they approach or try to evade the creature, some of these creatures can hide in plain sight as they blend into the ruins, maybe they are hibernating or maybe like a spider they are waiting for their prey to get caught in their web before they start the attack, now hopefully there is enough cover the player can make use of to actually have a chance fighting against these things.
i personally want something like this, making them move faster is silly and all kinds of uncanny valley gameplay, slower but stronger health and attack wise and bigger is better than speed alone, maybe their attacks when agro can be fast, but just streamlining speed is uncanny and not as fun gameplay wise.
if you do make a creature that can be crazy fast, they need some kind of tailtell sign that they are nearby and the player must do something to either evade the creature or set specific traps meant to slow this creature down, suddenly i'm thinking of that tv show supernatural when they set traps meant for specific enemy's they fight against, in this game that trap can be in the form of a special mine the player can set or like the bear trap can be fixed to work with a poison that can slow down an enemy or keep it in place for a short period of time while the player uses a weapon specific for the job to either kill it or evade the creature and ruin it's senses to find the player.
