About this mod
This mod adds, 3 guns, the AK, the Galil and the Type 93 (Fo3 chinese assault rifle) into the game, but with a twist... as a weapon platform. So you can mix and match each of them into the most BLESS, or CURSED combination possible, the choice it's yours.

Then in the Intro of the game they show us the chinese paratroopers in Alaska with galils, but in game it's nowhere present, until now. In Fo4 the combat rifle it's your dmr/battle rifle (kinda) and that abomination of assault rifle, we... we dont talk about that. So here we are...
The Shi are competing with the gun runners, and recently a caravan of them where saw trading with traders in the commonwealth, after a while a lot of people are seen carrying some new arsenal...
This mod adds, technically 3 guns, the AK, the Galil and the Type 93 (Fo3 chinese assault rifle) into the game, but with a twist... it is, a platform. So you can mix and match each of them into the most BLESS, or CURSED combination possible, the choice it's yours. The possible choices or combinations are:
Ak family (Mariner):
- Aks-74u
- Aks-74n
- Dragunov (Kinda, only barrel, stock)
- East German mpi-aks-74nk
- Hungarian AKM-63
- AK-112 (yes, from the classics)
- AsVal (Kinda, only barrel, magazine)
Chinese family (Type 93/army):
- Type 93 (Chinese assault rifle)
- The Fo4 cut content one
- Shorten Type 93
- LMG variant of the Type 93
Galil (PARAs):
- Galil ARM
- Galil AR
- It adds the three main variants into the game, in vendors and in level lists by script injection. They will appear in the hands of gunners and raiders after level 5, the former will have better kit it up guns than the latter.
- There is a lot of randomization of the parts, so you will find interesting setups on your enemies, for people that doesn't want to engage too much with the modification system of the game. But... all guns will have worse internals... (worse what?)
- Receivers will give you the different guns, each with i'ts own reload animations, caliber and feel, so the damage will be handle by the new Internals mod slot, they will have the role of your regular vanilla receivers (damage and requirements). Inspired by the stalker trilogy.
- Referencial attachments, if you see the screenshots you would probably recognized familiar attachments from other games, if not... you would not notice at all
- Cammo system, each of the three guns has one cammo, each based in different military campaigns of the Fallout universe.
- In total, 3 receivers (4 standard, 3 without dust covers, one .45 cal, one .38 cal and one DMR designated .308), 17 barrels, 14 magazines, 12 stocks, 12 sights/scopes, 9 muzzle attachments, 5 damage upgrades and 3 cammos

+ Munitions, See through scopes, Bullet counted reload, etc?
- This mod has it's own see through scopes implementation, other than that, the least external requirements this mod has, the better. If you want to patch it or translate this mod, please credit accordingly!
+ Why one gun, why not three seperate guns?
- Why not...? As i said, you can make any combination you want. As a wise man once said...
+ Legendaries?
- I dont have the soul for it, sorry... you have a lot of randomization and choices. but no special magical effects
+ Why not using real names for parts?
- Merely an artistic choice, in Fallout rarely a gun is named by it's real life counter part, so the same applies here, also there is no name for the LMG or shorten variants of the Type 93 because they didn't exist, so i didn't want to create a name for it, or to leave it at that, so for cohesion with the rest of the parts, i used the role that the firearm was used pre war, mariner barrel, special forces barrel, etc.
+Animations
This mod uses custom first person anims for first person only, majority using Hitman's right handmade rifle anims as a basis, custom reloads and equips by me. No custom third person anims, so it uses vanilla handmade rifles anims instead.
Design criteria
Some would say that the gameplay of Fo3 sucks, and in some regards, yes, but in others it's very tight, the arsenal in that game was very good, it's not like NV with a fuck ton of guns (not a bad thing, in that aspect more is good) but as the first 3D game, each gun accomplished a role in that game. As i said, the Chinese assault rifle was your workhorse, deals more damage than the regular assault rifle, but it is rarer to come by... sadly Fo4 doesn't have durability.
The combat rifle in Fo4 it's your Fo3 assault rifle in this game, the thing is that it is best to relegate it into the battle/DMR rifle in this game. I was craving for that workhorse rifle that saves you in most firefights, so here we are...
Concepts to explore
I was seeking to explore two things, to allow a playstyle that touches the weapon bench the least possible, a more go around, find guns, discard for other, etc. A more dynamic scavenging... Playing Skyrim and Fo4 i miss so much durability, because that made you have a backup, find guns, repair them, keeping them in top condition, not having a sword/gun from the mid game for 30 plus hours just because there is nothing better, gets boring real fast.
The second was to rearranged the vanilla mod slots into a different system (would not say better or worse, time will tell) receivers will dictate the appearence, handling (animations) and functionality (fire rate, semi/auto, caliber) of the gun. Internals, will give you the upgrade power, more damage, more dakka.
P.S. And also it's pretty neat to have the Aks from both, OG Metro 2033 and last light
P.P.S also naming this mod was a headache, and this mod was made almost a year ago...
