Using Ellen in Sanctuary, I am getting a repeated dialogue, of "Hi, How are you doing today, at least every 30 seconds to minute time frame, in others just about constant, not sure if this was intended or a bug
Here's a potential Ellen bug for you to investigate, although I should preface this by saying that I'm not 100% certain it is an Ellen bug. However, I've only experienced it with her, and it happens every time, so I'm assuming it is an Ellen bug.
Specifically, one of her affinity conversations appears to reset her movement speed so that she always walks, regardless of player character speed. I don't recall the exact affinity conversation, as it has been a while since I last brought her along, but as noted, it only happens with her, and it happens every time (for me, at least). I seem to recall other users experiencing this bug, too, so it is probably worth a look.
Edit: Checked Ellen's bug reports and, yep, a lot of "Won't Run" complaints. The most common trigger seems to be raising her affinity too high before undertaking her personal quest. Based on what I experienced, this makes the most sense.
Probably works together. I didn't check in detail, but from the description it sounds like they didn't change anything that'd conflict with what I modified.
