About this mod
This mod replaces the standard turpentine with a new model/textures that were hand made by me. It is inspired after the Turpentine from Fallout 3 and New Vegas, with a few new extra details to make it more visually interesting Imo. It comes with all new collisions and optimized textures. This mod replaces the vanilla turpentine (paint thinner) with a new model that was hand made by me. It is modeled after the Turpentine from Fallout 3 and New Vegas, with a few new extra details to make it more visually interesting. It comes with all new optimized collisions and textures. (4k Diffuse, 2k Normal, 1k Specular) as well some some world orientation edits in a few places. I also increased the weight from 1lbs to 2lbs to match Fallout New Vegas. This is a model/texture replacer overall and only minimal work was done in the editor.
Lore For People Who Care:
In my search for reference material while texturing, I came across Bethesda's original reference for the turpentine. It was an old can of Klean-Strip Turpentine. (See images) I took some details from the real life counterpart, some creative liberty, a love for the original games, and today I bring you what I cooked up.
"For any rust, scum, and grime, Green Pine is your 'Tine!"

Feedback:
I am looking to make my mods as professional as possible, and really wanted to work on my presentation and overall quality here. It has taken me about 2,600 hours in the Creation Kit and god knows how many on other software to land where I am today but I still make mistakes and can miss things. Even know there's still things I don't know - a lot of things. If any of you see anything out of the ordinary, have tips, or criticism, my inbox is open :)
Who Am I:
Some of you might recognize me from a few years back - my name is HonorableVista. I published a few mods some years back and deleted my account. One of those mods was Animated Main Menu Replacer. Man, seeing that today gives me nostalgia. My most popular mod I might be known for was the mod I was working on, Power Armor Lore Restored (PALR) Well, after a long ass time, I'm back.
Back when Fallout 4 came out, I loved the game, but I think we all felt something was missing. After being a fan of the past games, there was a huge leap in overall tone that I never could get used to. I had so many ideas on how to "fix" the game, but I didn't know how to complete them. I wanted to give up so many times, and I did - a couple times. I didn't know how to be patient. I was also battling with depression and a bad home life at the time which did nothing to help me focus on what makes me actually happy. As I've gotten older and wiser, and learned to deal with life somewhat, it's easier to make myself sit down and read. To play around with stuff. To see why things work and why they don't instead of turning into a cave man. Over the years, in my hiatus, I have still been modding. A lot. A bunch of handy tools came out in the mean time, too. I have 2TB jam packed with stuff I can't wait to polish and share, but for now, one thing at a time. Guns, armor, locations, clutter, lore fixes, etc. With the Fallout 3 remaster coming, it has only fueled my passion to "Remaster" Fallout 4 even harder. Some things I won't be able to share via file upload due to permissions, but the stuff that I can, I want to.
Thanks everybody, and enjoy.
