I decided to replace the black/red of the Brotherhood of Steel with the older paint, while still retaining their rank decals and torso decals. I noticed in Fallout 76 from some videos that the BOS had the exact same paints, so instead of there being a reason for the new colors (The reunion with the Outcasts) it was chalked up to an art style change. Therefore, this mod will return their old art style. In my personal opinion, I think they look better this way.
All ranks will have appropriate decals. Paladin's will wear T-51 similar to their armor in NV, with appropriate decals and matching colors. More on that soon.
On another note, I updated the textures once again to be a little smoother and to have scratches, which in the end is good because now the speculars match up better with the other paints. Plus, the BOS emblem on the left pauldron has seen an uplift.

first, it'd be nice if this were compatible with these mods.

granted i doubt there'd be any compatibility issues in the first place.
second, how would the Concord Deathclaw encounter play out? were it up to me i'd make it so that Preston takes the power armor after giving the player a bolt action pipe sniper rifle. essentially the player provides cover while Preston charges in. once it's done Preston could drop off the power armor at Sanctuary, saying that it's not his style so he's leaving it there for the player. i'd even accept voiceless dialogue to have context on the whole thing. Preston could also say he has the training but not the means to train anyone else. Brotherhood could say that as well.
finally, for the power armor training manual will it be 1 manual to get the perk or will more than 1 be required? personally i think it should require 5 to 10. just 1 makes getting the perk too easy if you ask me. i don't like having everything handed to me on a silver platter. i like to earn things by overcoming challenges.
Is there any news about the mod?
The project isn't canceled and they are still working on it.
Are you planning to change the characteristics of the armor so that it does not break on the NPS like plastic?In a standard game, the damage in parts of the NPS armor is increased by 3 times.
Rest assured I'm hard at work on it, along with a friend :) If not late December, then I'd say late January tops. I'll keep everybody posted throughout the remainder of this month and next.
