just got this for the louder power armor footsteps bc it's absolutely ridiculous how quiet they are (but power armor sound replacer mods like PAMS are way too annoying for me unfortunately) so this is perfect.

This mod needs to be 'ported' to Starfield.

Hearing your footsteps is so important for immersion. In Starfield feels like you're floating around sometimes... Takes you out of the experience.

Some of the footsteps in Starfield sound abnormally low:
I considering to make a mod for Starfield, but I don't feel like... I've been playing for over 100 hours and not having as much fun in Starfield as I did in Fallout 4... Hopefully someone will make one.

      Thanks for input.

Perhaps one day Bethesda will truly improve Starfield and make it worth playing more.

There's separate volume control for footsteps in game.

There's separate volume control for footsteps in game, but even at maximum is too low in third person

Does this edit npc footsteps to be louder so you can hear them?

If you use the optional "quiter" file, do you need to install that alongside one of the main files?

Looking at the files it seems that the quieter file only contains regular footsteps. I didn't see any power armor files.

Just to make sure, these are just adjusted vanilla files, right? Like you threw them into audacity and increased the Gain?
I am working on a.. *ahem*.. shall we say... "Immersive®" sneaking sound mod and would like to use your edited sounds for a base. I'm kind of editing the vanilla sound files to be on par with the loudness of these anyway. I'm Sure glad Fallout 4 can at least use .wav files
