Yes, you turned the hair into a "hood". So the vanilla hairstyles in the game do not have long hair that goes above the neck. Because in the vanilla game, either the hair has physics or it becomes a "hood". The vanilla cloth physics of the game already has simple collisions with the thigh bones, but Beth is unwilling to do a little more work to make the hair physics at least have some collisions with the neck and back like cloth physics to make real long hair. Genuinely just thought of this, but could... well, the uh... the jiggly parts physics mod, be repurposed to just give the hair bones collision detection for the body?
