There are wooden prewar power pylons all over the world. I believe some are intact enough, and could be reused for this mod. Also installer, where we can select not only size, but also range, as low as zero, or even multiple ranges for one size. I did that myself for with vanilla ones so I can wire up rooms separately.
Could you take a picture of one of these? I'll certainly add them but knowing what I'm looking for will help. If it's really wooden then that would seem like a perfect candidate for a non radiating conduit.
how about making them smaller i have another mod that gives me a 1 power wall power generator that i use excusively to put lights in my houses and the giant one is way too big and ugly to make it usefull since the smaller one doesn't entirely cover some of the houses in sanctuary.
It looks great but I cannot figure out the advantage of having a power conduit that has a 1charge drop across it with no gain anywhere. Does it allow for a longer wire length, perhaps?
Great MOD. This really helps with lighting large structures also is a big plus with out door lighting as well. here is an idea. If the light poles themselves contained advanced conduits you could just power one directly and all the rest would get power from each other so long as they were in range of each other. You could then power the house without running lines to them if they had a light pole out front. After all the light poles obviously were wired underground. For that matter in places like Sanctuary do you see any telephone poles anywhere......No. So all the power ran underground. This way we could transmit power and restore settlements without Pylons allover the place. I'm sure that at least in small local enclaves people would try to restore the old existing utilities first. Besides who is forging the steel and manufacturing all these power pylons? Another idea would be Bus Bars for powering defenses and other things where you have to power large numbers of machines. look forward to seeing more of your work. Kudos
Is this only for ground or the other two variants (wall, roof) ? Maybe roof is not needed(it will look a bit silly, however the wall would be great..maybe?)
I personally almost never use the floor ones instead I use small pylons and get some lift so my wiring looks less like electric trap. Also the floor conduits suffer from wire hitting the ground, before long max length is reached. Anyway, great idea, I have seen them on prewar structures and was kinda sad, I could not use them myself.
To use this on walls just use "getpos X" -> "setpos X {value}" same with Y & Z and then use "setangle Y 90" or "setangle X 90" to move around, then cables will snap correctly on them.

todo:
*add ceiling conduit
*probably modify the appearance (color?) of the small or large size so they arent 100% identical.
