Love the idea of songs that reflect whats happening in the game, are all these song available to listen to right away or do they unlock as you do quests?

Currently the songs are available right away, but I like the idea of them being introduced as quests are completed. If I can figure out the creation kit enough to make that happen, I'll probably release an optional version with that feature.

Originally I had a whole questline planned for it, so I may try to do something with that, too.

Not a fan of AI in the slightest (I'm an artist and textile-artist, mainly embroidery and crochet but also costume making, and AI is giving so many people unrealistic expectations for embroidery and other textile crafts, as well as art, that it's insane) but this is a decent concept. It's good that you're up-front about using AI, too.

Not sure if I'll download, just because I am very anti-AI for both livelihood and environmental reasons, but I hope people who use the mod like it. It sounds like it'd be a fun mod. It just doesn't make sense that Magnolia, as much as I love her, would be the only post-war singer in the entirety of Boston.

That's understandable. Fortunately, the industry I work in employs A.I. as an assistant, or a tool more than a replacement, so I work alongside it every day. I'll always be upfront about what is A.I. and what is not, though. In this case, I wrote a few of the songs myself, but almost everything else (structuring, performing, composing, and writing all of the other songs) was done by A.I. I just gave it a theme/topic, had it write lyrics & structure them, then gave it a genre and assigned a "persona" I had created.

Cuts the work down to two gruesome nights of arguing with the robot about how a chorus should sound since all I had to do was compile the album, add in the AM radio equalizer to make it sound like it's coming from an old radio, and then do the album art (A.I. generated the 4 guys, I put it all together.)

Though I dont like AI, (I REALLY DONT) I think conceptually this is an amazing idea, I wish fallout had more post war music made. We had that with Magnolia, we can still have real songs, but wouldn't it have been nice to have songs based on our exploits?

i didn't like AI at first, but it's grown on me, and some people have used it to make the most funny s#*! ever imaginable in music.

there is a channel on youtube called sus records, some of the most funny AI music you will ever hear and it's in the oldies style and very addicting to listen to, trust me, you will laugh once you see the entire library of songs this channel has made.

but if you want more serious music that is AI and not done too badly, and sounds better than this and it's in the doowap style, check this channel out.

not all AI music is bad, some is for sure, but not everything is all bad.

I used to not be a fan of A.I. myself, but having it as a tool at my disposal is a game changer. Need a theme song for something? Write the song, define the genre, and it's fully composed & sang within a minute.

The idea for this "album" was to essentially have a band that sees and knows everything, with the player being oblivious to their presence (almost like Deacon.)

Sounds like something a synth would say.

It's alright, but to me it doesn't sound like Fallout music. It's very Blink 122ish or something along those lines, just without the guitars. Just my opinion though and I'm not overly AI friendly, so take that as you like.
  5. As long as it doesn't use anyone's voice without their consent...

Turns out, with AI you do have a Doo-Wop Quartet in your back pocket lol. Personally I love Ai tools used for stuff like this. I look at it this way, if I use Ai to voice in a mod im making that didnt take away someones job because I cant afford to hire anyone so the mod just wouldnt exist.

Not to mention time! I had all these songs written, composed, and sang within 2 days. With this, I paid for the rights to use the tool & the licenses to the music after it was created, and that's it.

Oh, this is a channel in the Pipboy? Can we get a radio with it? Maybe replace the classical music radio, like some other mods do. Or, the jukebox.

I suppose if you can't or don't want to, others are allowed to?

Yes, I'm already working on radios with it.
