This mod adds in a variety of details, mostly in the form of road signs, to the area surrounding Nuka-World that aim to give it a real place within the wider Wasteland. You will now find signs that indicate you are crossing a state border. Along the southern part of the map, you'll find friendly signs welcoming you to Connecticut, and signs welcoming you back into Massachusetts when you return. Alongside these, you will also be able to see signs on the overpass highway that show which highway it is and where the various exits lead.
Why did you make this?
I realized through playing the Nuka-World DLC that there was nothing in the game world that indicates where the park is supposed to be geographically. A while back I made a Google Map of (pretty much) everything known to be canon in Fallout, and I had a tough time deducing where Nuka-World is supposed to be. After doing research, I eventually settled on it being located south of Springfield along the Connecticut river. My reasoning for this is that there is a real-world theme park in that region (Six Flags New England), there is a north-south river with a small island (the Connecticut River), and there is a north-south highway (Interstate 91). All of these are present within the Nuka-World map as well. This also means that some of the area south of the Nuka-World parks is actually in Connecticut. To reduce confusion and increase immersion, I decided to make this mod.
