I have found a compromise on the audio irritation for the laser weapons in this mod. NPC's will correctly play the sound only when the weapon is charging, but the sound cue for when the weapon reaches full charge has been removed. I will update the mod ASAP.
Will the v1.01 update play nice with 4estGimp - Super Mutant Redux? For that matter will it also play nice with anything that replaces Super Mutant weapons as well? I'd totally love to come up against green skins with one of these weapons.
it doesn't replace any weapons, it just adds to their inventory. It should play nice since it reuses Gauss rifle animations, and I have tested the mod to make sure they actually do have them. They can also use the KO-9K2 as that uses Assault Rifle animations, but only through Legendary variants can they have it show up as loot.
