2/16 - Uploaded a version of the mod that I use for my current playthrough. It is a merge of the original mod, the .esm Spring Cleaning patch, and the Scrap Everything patch. As well, the wood pieces have been moved to the end of the Wood Misc category. Obviously this will not work for most people, but it's there as an option.
2/7 - There are now two patches for Spring Cleaning: one for those that use the .ini version (ESP) and one for those that use the 'main' version (ESM). Choose appropriately based on what you're using. CTDs will be caused if you choose poorly.
2/2 - Added a patch for Scrap Everything. It has the same functionality as the Spring Cleaning patch: allow you to move the wood pieces after placing them. If you're using both Scrap Everything AND Spring Cleaning you will need both patches for proper function.
Please do not misunderstand, I appreciate your work and I have also in use. But I will uninstall it again. NOBODY needs 300 boards! This is too much. Scroll ... scroll ... scroll. 90% of it can be deleted, then it would be a very good mod. The boards all before the Vanilla objects, so you always have to scroll through everything.
I actually appreciate the wide variety but it does indeed lead to an annoying amount of scrolling. The ideal for me would be if you could somehow manage to divert it to it's own sub-menu. (However, I know that can be especially difficult with the finicky limits the crafting menu has...)
I like the idea of this mod. But I agree it needs to have it's own sub menu unless it is just adding 2-3 things. Otherwise it becomes unwieldy. You could then trim the number of boards and still keep some variation without the clutter.
This is why I did a complete tear down and reinstall of my last run. Scrolling through endless activity mats just to find the vanilla object at the end was consuming more time than the actual building.
One question and I know it's prob too much to ask for... but would it be possible for u to upload a file with ONLY the mesh metal looking ones? I have all the wooden and metal pieces thanks to other mods, the wooden ones even twice. lol But I've been looking for those mesh looking pieces for AGES as a stand alone. And asking for a standalone doesnt hurt, so here I am Or maybe u know if this alrdy excists somewhere? Appreciate the help and great job on the mod still!
Hi there! Just a note for the "Scrap everything patch" which is looking for an "esp". "Scrap everything" mod in now an ".esm". So it's red in NMM listings and CTD at launch. But maybe it's not needed anymore with this version? I use both and have no problem.
Both my original images and the two user-uploaded images seem to indicate that nav-meshing is not a problem. I didn't edit the meshes at all, nor did I create new statics. I also haven't had any reports of this being an issue.
Question since I haven't use this yet, reading from description means that there will be few hundreds of options now for floor patches in wood misc and metal misc? 'Cause too many options is usually better to have but seems to me tooo many for how "messy" workshop categories could be.
Right. The wood patches are manageable (to me). The corrugated metal ones are not. As such the corrugated metal ones are all tagged with a 'z' on their FormList to move them to the end of the Metal Misc category.
hell yes. you have NO IDEA how long i've been waiting for someone to do this. i thought at some point the big league modders would've done it but they never did, so i'm really glad you took up the task!
all these big settlement creation mods and no one incorporated the most basic parts. once again thank you, i'll endorse in a bit

It doesn't sound like they have their own menu though. That would be more than ideal.
