Idk if its just on my end, but the map looks very bright, the map icons aren't as visible. I believe I have pipboy fx disabled, maybe that could be it.
Either way, nice map, I like both versions, with and without structures
I have noticed too much brightness as well, but only using the map while in Power Armor (regular Pip-Boy seems fine). It does seem to be related to Pip-Boy FX but I've used Pip-Boy FX with other modded maps and haven't noticed excessive brightness.
I’m seeing a slight misalignment with map icons, and this happens both with and without the mod - though it’s more noticeable with it, since the buildings are visible.
I came across comments suggesting this mod fixes the map alignment issue, but from my experience, that doesn't seem to be the case. I tried the Commonwealth Map Alignment Fix, which does correct the issue, but it overrides this mod entirely. The only other UI-related mod I have installed is FallUI.

// I fixed the issue myself by using the map from Commonwealth Map Alignment Fix as a reference and manually adjusting the texture from this mod in an image editor. I loaded both textures, set this mod’s map to 50% opacity, and transformed it until the roads lined up with the reference map.
The top left corner (Sanctuary / Red Rocket / Concord) is really the worst part.
I can send you the DDS I made, and you can give it a look - and use it for an update or optional file, if you want. I have not been to every part of the Commonwealth yet on my current play through - and thus have not been able to check if anything is still misaligned. But so far, everything seems to be in order.

Excellently made map otherwise.
