Surprised at the size. I thought face gen made through VEFS would result in a smaller file, but this is a full gig larger than the original face gen file, which didn't use VEFS.
I am getting diverse wasteland and X-cell. I suffered from stutters but will this mod assist with the stuttering stopping when using Diverse Wasteland AIO?
This wouldn't happen to cause female body textures showing on the neck would it? I'm running no body mods, but something has the full bra and panties showing on their necks.
Actually can confirm, the Enclave patch causes the underwear (basically the whole torso) to show on the back of the neck for females and the back and top of head for males, disabled the patch and it instantly went away on my next load.
I'm not sure lol I tried disabling all of my other uniform replacers and a lot of other things, but removing the Enclave face gen patch was the only thing that made any difference. The main patch doesn't seem to share this issue or i just have experienced it yet, but on the oil rig it's super noticeable. having the old diverse and immersion work fine but one the face gen patch applies they get panty neck
"Panty Neck" isn't caused by face gen; rather, it is a weird confluence of armor/outfit, body type, and WNAM - Skin entries in an NPC (Actor) record. There may be other considerations, as well, but two three combinations I've encountered include:
Custom outfits for vanilla bodies (no body slide data) used with a nude custom body (that requires body slide). The only solution to this one is to either not use the custom body or not use the custom outfits until body slide files materialize.
A WNAM entry applying an underwear skin to an always nude custom body. The solution here is to delete the WNAM entry from the NPC (Actor) record or not use the custom body.
Custom outfits with broken textures/texture pathing. Solution is don't use the outfit until it is fixed.
In the case of Diverse Enclave, none of the new Enclave records apply a WNAM skin, but all of the new Fury Company records add a "Dirty" skin since all of the default FC members have it.
rsm000rsm I appreciate your explanation, but you might as well have been speaking Latin lol
My question is though, why does it only happen with the facegen patch if when it's removed panty neck goes away?
I can run diverse and/or immersive just fine without the patch, and tbh idk if the patch is 100% necessary for me because I had no issues without it anyways.
So, I have some bad news. This "panty neck" issue occurs with the Diverse Wasteland face gen, too, and it isn't just females. Male's have "underwear neck." I've gone through several of my other mods for which KC made face gen, but so far, the issue is limited to these two Diverse mods.
Assuming the VEFS settings weren't changed between making these Diverse face gen files and the face gen files that came after, the only reason I can think of that would cause the issue is the number of faces that are generated. But even that doesn't quite fit, as Diverse Enclave has 280 faces, while Atom Cat Settlers has 200, and the latter rendered fine. Unless the limit is between 200 and 280, but that means it is a VEFS issue, as the original Diverse face gen files didn't have this issue, as they predate VEFS.
That's interesting, I noticed a few males in AR2, but not in vanilla. I've got the Diverse AIO Facegen patch running, but tbf most people in the vanilla game have their necks hidden by armor, I only noticed the issue in AR2 because of the army helmets
Yeah, headgear and big hair hides most of it. Once I started removing headgear with the console, though, I was able to see how widespread the issue is.
More bad news. Turns out I forgot to enable the face gen files for the other mods I tested. I went back and tested with the face gen active and, unfortunately, the NPCs in those mods are having the same issue, so we can rule out the "too many faces" theory. I'm of the belief that the problem lies with VEFS, as the original Diverse series FaceGen data doesn't have the problem.
That tutorial is by the same guy who made the original Diverse series face gen files. I don't know how complete it is since the CK doesn't play nice for me, so I wasn't able to test it for myself.
Once I finish this update on my modlist that I've been pounding my head at the monitor over for 2 weeks now, I'll try to learn how to manually do it. I'm very new to CK because I couldn't get it to work for the longest time either. lol
I´m lost when it comes to facedata, I have Diverse wasteland AIO installed in a downgraded version of the game, I have x-cell in my load orded, will I benefit of installing your mod or it´s only for NG users?
Enclave Settlers is part of my "Faction Settlers" series, so if KC makes face gen for it, it'll likely be on a dedicated page with the other entries in the series.
Thanks, I was waiting for the old facegen mod to be updated. I had lost hope and was content with the old versions of the diverse series, but your mod turned out great. I also combined the diverse series. Since it was very high, I was using the mods I liked from the series one by one. I wish you a good day.
Excellent work!, any chance you'll be adding facegen for Unique Faces - AiO (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/87643) to your to-do list please?. If not then no problem at all mate.
I'll let you decide how many of these face gen files you want to make, but I'll send you a list of what I consider the most important mods from my "catalog." I have 120+ mods to sort through, though, so it may take a day or two. Face Fixes - All in One would be my next choice since it is my second most popular AiO after Diverse Wasteland.

Thank you, this is great. Finally I can update to the latest version. Would you be interested in covering SeriouslySarcastic (at least the companions) mods sometime in the future as well? Thanks once again and your band sounds good, not really my preferred genre but keep it up!

Regardless, many thanks for making this.

Patch was verified by the mod author. Haven't had anyone else report this and DW was the only mod enabled when I ran this.

So yes, in short. lol
Please do Enclave Settlers - America Rising 2
you could just include it together with the Diverse Enclave facegen. It won’t matter if either of those mods is not installed.
Currently running the Immersion Pack patch. :D
And you are very welcome~
I'm looking forward to your planned patches! 😀
KC's Unique Faces FaceGen Patch
Thank you so much for listening and all the compliments~ (:
Glad I could help!
