I do not know if this is a bug with this mod or AN76 but trying to pick the soap back up seems to cause the game to freeze. I'm quite content to item-dupe and drop the soap all over the Commonwealth, but it's a simple freeze so a solution wouldn't hurt!

I don't have Universal Working Bathroom Fixtures, just cwss and an76 but I've received CTDs from picking up soap.

So far, I have seen only one displacement in the swap. FWR users may find the shower fitting in The Depths' domicile section is... elevated to where the shower nozzle is above the ceiling. It still works, I've tested it! You just end up standing in mid-air during the shower: Upon finishing you redress back at floor level.

The showers in sanctuary or vault 111 didn't get replaced even though I left the options as default in the ini file.

Is there something I need to change or could you tell me what specific locations would be touched by your mod

So, in using this, I have played about 6 hours, and found a few implementations but no flickering like the UWSS (i believe that was the name) had.  Thank you, endorsed.

I'm not sure if this was a problem with CWSS itself or this mod's implementation, but I could not fill bottles at sinks or standard water pumps in Survival Mode with these mods installed.  It was the only addition to my load order from a stable setup.

Can't fill bottles with CWSS. They're bubblers, meaning just to either drink from or play animations, not a resource like a pump or vault sink.

Had a working LO with AN76 and CWSS 4.01. Upgraded CWSS to 4.011. Removed Niston's sink tap replacer. So far, I see sinks, toilets, and showers being replaced. However, only one set of showers works so far. The sinks and toilets give me the prompts to interact/ set private but I am unable to use them. Fixtures I have made at settlements continue to work as expected. I am on old Gen. Any suggestions?

I had better luck today, found a working toilet at DB Tech I could use.

I didn't think there would be much of a difference between CWSS 4.01 and 4.011 but I was SO WRONG. I went into build mode and was blown away by the number of new fixtures, it was overwhelming. I strongly encourage folks to upgrade to 4.011 if they are running 4.01.

I don’t use AN76 nor play survival. You’ll have to figure it out yourself.

No worries, I am finding more and more working fixtures. I think at first I had some bad luck.

Not every fixture in the game world has an equivalent in CWSS.

iirc one of the CWSS implementations had them be like marginally bigger than what they replace. Is this the same here?

      No, it just swaps references.

Nice job, although I do wish that CWSS would get a bit of a polish and update before I'd start using it again.

CWSS is abandonware, if damned useful (especially for Advanced Needs 76!) There's nothing wrong with making a polished version (complete with shinier textures) and calling it Polished CWSS, though I'd certainly give credit where it's due, namely to the original mod author.

I have found when using transfer settlements the kitchens from CWSS always go missing during the import process..Even though every file is present and correct,I get the cwss kitchen sink which just floats in the air.. Which makes it easier re-fitting missing kitchens as they snap straight in......

It's not abandonware, last update was in 2024 not too long ago at all, works perfectly in my 200+ hour save with roughly 1500 mods. The author listens and responds to bug reports, comments etc. sent in Nexus DMs or via the Dropbox link's comment menu.

hi, can you help direct what's the latest version of CWSS you are currently using and possibly where we can get it ?
      Thx.

Exactly, I've used the latest CWSS and it's perfectly fine in my 200 plus modded games. It's on a google drive I think, or some torrent website, I forget now, someone else commenting beneath me will likely know. I find that 'Modular Kitchens' is far better than CWSS's kitchen stuff though, since CWSS just comes in blue and has only like 3 items to it, none of which are actual containers.

(edit, this sounds like an ad lol, I swear it's not, I just love the mod, it needs more love honestly, I swear by it in all games, cos I can store all the crap I pick up when looting, like cups, glasses, spatula, and all the packaged items that don't belong in a fridge like donut mix etc.. It lets me play like it's a real kitchen.)

Modular Kitchens comes in all the diff colours with matching fridges and cookers, you can make individual cabinets that snap together (the up top bits and down below bits), make one long section of cabinet with or without sink (the sink works, either for drinking or for doing dishes like the CWSS version), or one modular whole kitchen set with sections to clip the fridge and cooker in at 2 points, and each modular set comes with decoration only versions (if you want to decorate npc homes and save build load), and working container versions, versions with the mixer arm (that you find near the cooker) and versions without. You can build kitchens to spec in any room, any shape, any colour, any way, you don't just have to go for the right hand corner like with the vanilla blue sole survivor's house. It's listed on Bethesda.net rather than Nexus, since the whole mod ownership debacle went down. Bethesda.net | [XB1] Modular Kitchens Updated Mod
Oh, and you can get clean and dirty versions of each colour, decor and container versions if you want that post apoc look.

Will track this for now - need to see more feedback on performance, specifically whether precombines are broken.

Base Object Swapper doesn’t touch precombines, it only changes references.

Just to clarify, because sometimes I am dense, this only changes showers and toilets that aren't precombined and thus, wouldn't give the flicker problems like the UWBF mod does?
