The AER4 Tri-Beam Laser has entered circulation into the Commonwealth. A variation on the old AER4 Laser platform, this represents some of the earliest attempts at laser-splitting technology, intended to maximize damage and volume of fire while maintaining accuracy. Later Tri-Beam lasers would perfect this technology with far greater power capacity, but the AER4 variant remained commercially viable for its greater energy cell efficiency, relative durability, and ease of use, and its wooden furniture is easy to replace.
The AER4 Tri-Beam can be found wherever other Laser guns can be found, starting at level 12. It features four barrels, eight grips including a special power reserve, and a standard suite of capacitors and sights, as well as a laser sight. It boasts a much higher accuracy than most shotguns, although its spread is prone to sharply increasing during movement or consecutive firing. The sniper barrels boast a unique functionality, where they can maintain a higher accuracy over consecutive shots for longer, however they are much slower to recover their accuracy as well, particularly from movement.
I hope this proves to be a fun and interesting addition to your game. If you're looking for more modified laser guns or radiation weapons, go pick up the Fission Gun. Or, if you're looking to make your ballistic weapons a little more interesting, check out the Infuser Pack.
