Im using this mod on NG. Havent noticed any difference, but then again, i have never expirienced this bug with followers. At least it didnt make anything worse. Thanks for your work either way!
What I noticed using this mod - Piper (other companions probably too) has now (unpleasant) behaviour like Dogmeat before "position behind" patch. That means she actively pursuit my aim point and often try run into this position. If consider unpredictable teleportation capabilitiy of companions, it often leads to strange situations, when I turn back and she is teleported behind my back. But it is still possible, that this mod is not involved in. So I decided remove this mod and observe, what will be changed.

said in fred allen voice "seriously you don't know?" lol ada in particular runs into the player all the time and if you have a multi follower mod installed she runs even closer to the player. Assaultrons in general try to sorta constantly move around they just can't stand still.
Such behaviour - (run into player, then retreat back + "hanging on hero neck") I noticed even without this mod with Codsworth. It is not funny, but it was corrected itself in some moment (probably after kill Kellog, I do not remember exactly). Maybe it is connected with too much carring loot by cheat, as i usually have. :)
Thank you so much for this! It's so annoying now some of my companions / followers tend to walk away mid conversation. Our prayers have finally been answered.
Btw do you have plans on making some more recruitment of NPCs soon?
