This is a complete remake of my previous Screaming Eagle mod. The new mod represents my progress since I made the original mod. It includes all the cool stuff I've learned since then, like super mutant animations, windowed magazines with actual depleting rounds, and a general improvement to animations, textures and models. Gameplay:
Balancing: The mod adds two weapons to the game the "Adv Battle Rifle" in 308 and the "Adv Battle Carbine" in 556. Both weapons are balanced around the combat rifle and Handmade rifle. The weapons can be easily rebalanced in game via damage modifiers, said modifiers are named after different ammo grades, they don't actually change the ammo, they are just named that way to be more immersive that simple names like +10% Damage etc.
Spawn Behavior: Both weapons start to spawn in non combat roles after level 20, this includes stuff like quest rewards, vendors and legendary drops, between level 20 and 30 the weapons slowly start appearing on typical friendly npcs and boss type npcs. After level 30 the weapons start spawning on more common hostile npcs. The unique belt fed version spawns near the crashed Vertibird in the Glowing Sea, check the screenshots for the exact location.
Customization Options:
Mods There are too many customization options to list them all. Said customization options were mainly inspired by the typical appearance of the AR10, M16, M4, FONV Marksman Carbine and the P416 from Far Cry 3/4. All parts of the mentioned weapons can be combined, a 308 M16, a side-loading P416 with a drum magazine? Anything is possible.
Skins The mod comes with a huge amount of color options, there should be something for every one. There is also a customizable skin option, here is a tutorial on how to customize it.
