I like your idea here. I have a few other ideas that fits with what your trying to do, like swapping the security baton. Adding or swapping a few other static spawns around some early game areas would be a nice touch. For example the 10mm pistol and pipe gun spawns in Sanctuary. Locking some weapons in a container so a player would have to come back later to get them for balance reasons but still getting them early is a good way to encourage exploration.Like how if you know where your going you can get later game weapons early. Example, the hunting rifle spawns at lvl 10 but can be found close to Sanctuary at Walden pond, bonus points if you can make the spawns random. A few spawns I would like to see (all with ammo) are a 38 hunting rifle behind an advanced lock, a .30 pipe pistol behind an expert lock, and a 20 gauge scrap pump in the outskirts of Concord. For weapons that spawn at level 10 they should be put under an expert lock further away from sanctuary. Lastly I would like to know how you made theses swaps, so linking a tutorial would be nice.

Is it possible to have the compact pistol without fully taking out the 10mm? Like I do wanna start out with the compact but I do wanna see the 10mm Pistol and 10 mm ammo in the world? Unless i'm reading it wrong... Thanks!
This doesn't completely remove the 10mm Pistol from the game, only the ones placed in Vault 111. It'll still appear in the usual vendor lists and static placements outside the Vault.
