   A few questions, if I may.
   
   1) Is there anything that your mod does that the very recent South Boston Checkpoint Speaker Disable does not?
   
   2) Do you need to include the source in the package?
   
   3) Is the .esp .esl-flagged?

      I'm not the author but,
      1) Reptilian0verlord's mod only toggles the broadcast in the area, but this mod also toggles the "Emergency frequency RJ1138" radio signal (which is the same broadcast, just the one you can tune in on a Pip-boy).
      2) No, it's only for those who want to edit or learn from it.
      3) Yes.

   I have a suggestion. It seems unlikely that such a simple cut off would be available on site. Someone would have shut it off a long time ago after 200 years. I think it would be cool if the terminal to cut this off would be at another military location. Perhaps someplace like the National Guard Training Yard, possibly added to the terminal already present in the Armory. There are a few other possibilities. Fort Hagen might be even better, so it's not shut off too early in the game. But, it should be someplace that isn't simple to get into.

      to the gunners occupying the check point its an honor to hear the message on repeat, its military from past times and while they could have stopped it at any point, they would never dare turn off the words of past military.
      
      it has been turned off before, but gunners has turned it back on at any time it was turned off.
      
      while i understand and like the idea given, it felt unnecessary to make it more complex than this

   This was exactly what I was looking for. Even tho the broadcast is loud and annoying, I want to hear it at least when I'm approaching the area, rather than completely muting it from the start.

   Thank god!  First time I came across the South Boston Checkpoint, I thought I'd accidently signed up for Special Forces training- I was waiting for someone to arrive at my house and put me in stress positions while it played in the background.
