No worries - Collision was always enabled and still is. But NPC dont look at collision for navigation, they look at navmesh. And the robot workstation console don't cut the navmesh, so the NPC don't see it and try to walk through it. - which they can't because there's collision. Them SentryBots getting helplessly stuck forever in the process, the others might eventually escape after a while.
This mod simply adds a well placed navcut to the workstation mesh that covers the console and a bit more. So NPC may realize they can't walk there and will choose another path.

Seriously, I have been known to make and/or upgrade a robot then go to Workshop and yank the Robot Workbench to the side...
