Users of certain mod managers or users with insufficient PC permissions may experience crashes when loading save files or be unable to use the HUD settings. In that case, please download and install both the main file and the option file from the file tab and use them.
I don’t have in-depth knowledge about SWF files, so I’m unable to provide accurate guidance on how to allow users to change the built-in fonts. I apologize for the inconvenience! If possible, please check out the new, more advanced mod listed on the description page, as it might be a better option for you.
oof, this mod seems amazing, but the incompatibility with Nex Gen makes it an unfortunate pass.... Will still track and keep and eye on it in the chance i swap back to old gen
I don't experience this issue and everything works normally, but there might be a problem with the SWF. I will check the code again, but I'm not sure if I can fix it as I need to reproduce the bug to address it.
I thought I need to adjust something to the settings the graying only happens when I draw a gun. its just like having the night person perk view while my weapon is used it just stops when I holster the weapon. any weapon. everything works other than that. it make visibility poor during night time.
It's not possible at the moment and requires some code adjustments. If it can be implemented without any issues, I'll try to update it today to make it adjustable via MCM.
This feature has been added in the latest 1.2 update. Go to the MCM and enable the "Show HUD Even When Weapon is Holstered" option. Thanks for your feedback.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to mod with the next-gen version of F4SE, and it was impossible to create it using only Papyrus, so I couldn't provide support for the next-gen version.
Darn, just noticed this mod is outdated and doesn't support the newest version of F4SE and Fallout 4 NextGen. I use several mods that require F4SE for NextGen, so it looks like I'll not be using this mod. Good looking user interface mod though!
I also use FallUI and don’t have any issues. It seems like there might be a conflict with another mod, but I’m not sure what it is. Please try installing the troubleshooting option file in the file tab to see if it resolves the issue.
the second file help fix the crash. after testing i found it amazing. but lacking. id say some part of the hud is kinda lying. i tested it alongside my current fallui setting to see if the combat gauge reflects the actual bars. i found that with similar numebr of fallui segmented health/ap, the combat hud doesnt reflect properly.
edit: I believe the discrepancy is due to differences in calculation methods. My mod increases by one segment for every 12.5%, so even at 25.1%, it might still display as three segments. If I implement a finer segmentation, such as dividing it into 16 sections instead of the current 8, the accuracy should improve. However, I need to check whether this would introduce any performance issues in the game.
However, if the issue isn't just a difference in how the calculations are done, but rather an actual error—like the player's health being at 10% while far more segments are displayed—please let me know.
edit2: To reduce distortion in the health display, the number of segments has been changed from 8 to 16. Please install and use the newly uploaded version.
ive tested the new version and all i can say is, its a chef's kiss already. but due to how you coded the midway percentile, on an 80 HP, a single bar is woth 10 HP, and you made it so a single bar is 10 HP but has been divided by 2 so 2 5 HPs. that resulted in having 1/80 HP being a half bar of the last bar. but having 6/80 HP means you technically have one full bar of HP. all im saying is thats its not smooth. but it works. ima give this mods kudos now.
Quick Edit: as i reread your previous reply to me, i forgot to mention performance. Ive cranked the update speed on the setting to 1 to fully stress test both my machine and your mod, and with 240 regular mod and countless esl, no performance hit whatsoever. i AM running on Geforce 1660 super
Due to optimization, there may be some slight inconsistency in the HP and AP segments. If possible, I may add a more precise option in the future and, if there's no performance impact, include it in an official update. As you mentioned, updating every frame shouldn't be an issue for most users, as each update takes about 0.0001 seconds. However, there's no need for that much frequency, so the update is set to every 3 frames by default.
Hello, thank you for the mod it looks amazing! If it's possible could you please make a F4SE plugin that removes the horrendous hud backdrop-shadow that is rendered behind every single UI element in the game? I know it may hinder visibility so maybe replacing the hard backdrop shadow it with a soft shadow kind of like how Fallout 76 renders it's UI elements, or how your HUD mod does it
I have no plans to increase the displayed numbers beyond these limits. This mod is designed to provide quick information in combat situations, and I don't think there's a need to show ammo counts above 99 or grenade counts above 9.

Is it possible to have the ammo counter show more than 99 and the grenade counter show more than 9?
Thanks.
