Apologies if it's obvious, but what is the difference between this mod and SPID - Urban Raiders? I've read the description for both, but I'm still unsure...
SPID - Urban Raiders distributes the Urban Raiders armors to raiders, this mod distributes the collection of armors from the Modern Tactical Raider Overhaul to raiders aswell, basically they are distributing different outfits for raiders, increasing diversity. You can use both with no problems.
Ohhhh, thank you for clarification. For some reason I read "SPID - Modern Raider Tactical Overhaul" as more of the mod name than the actual description of the armor set, sorry! My brain sucks. It's great to know they work together. I know you wrote that Raiders at lvl 10 will start wearing the armor sets, but is there a way to test if it's working when starting a new save?
On the DISTR.ini file you can set the last number(the chance) to 100 and remove the level requirement to test, if you wish! It should looks like this: Outfit = emp_SCAV_Outfit_Raider|ActorTypeNPC|RaiderFaction|10|NONE|NONE|20 remove the "10" and "20" Outfit = emp_SCAV_Outfit_Raider|ActorTypeNPC|RaiderFaction|NONE|NONE|NONE|NONE
Thank you for walking me through this! I appreciate it. So, I wrote in the line, and haven't seen a change from the raiders at the beginning at concord. I even tried spawning some in to see if they would be different. I'm playing on NG, so I'm wondering if that's what's causing the issue?
Well, thats odd, maybe, i'm on oldgen so i dont know hows SPID on the next gen, but try to have the line like this then: Outfit = emp_SCAV_Outfit_Raider|ActorTypeNPC|RaiderFaction|NONE|NONE|NONE|100, and check the log of SPID located on Documents/MyGames/Fallout4/
Nice, thanks for the for the line. When I do my testing for mods right now, I do so with a new game and use the Concord fights as a test. I download through Vortex, so your ini files are in my common>fallout 4 path. I added in your line but I didn't see an immediate change. I ended up adding the mod Unleveled World, and during one of my test runs I saw a dead raider corps in Concord wearing an Urban Raider outfit!
So, I wanna say it works? I did multiple intro runs with a new game through Concord and was unable to recreate that moment. I wonder if it's just rare. I ended up uninstalling Unleveled World, so the Raiders at Concord are back to being the easy small frys. At the very least I can craft your Urban and Modern outfits at the Chem station, so I think it works. Perhaps if I played hours into the save and run into higher level raiders I'd start to see more of them wearing your gear. Either, way, I'm thankful for your help. If your curious, this is what the two ini files look like when I got that random spawn:

Edit: It worked! I was able to run into a raider wearing the Urban kit inside the Concord Museum. Thanks!
