That's like saying you don't see the point in most mods as many cover the same subject matter in different ways, with differing amounts of quirks, bugs or compatibility with other mods, etc. Anyway, you listed two mods twice (of which, 8588, is officially dead and the other, 9057 changes guns to add things like under-barrel grenade launchers). Of the others, 50209 is a total overhaul that also changes damage levels etc, and 66051 doesn't by itself add ammo into the game but provides them for other mods to use. And 7655 is a limited and ancient early 2016 mod that for example doesn't cover DLC weapons (and changes some gun damage levels). And finally, in future, please hotlink mods.
As for this mod - imho, coming from FO3, I found FNV ammo types & crafting (and most other crafting) was a retrograde step, unnecessarily complicating the gameplay, filling up item menus with tons of extra crap, and detracting from overall game enjoyment. I was glad to see Beth agreed and FO4 rowed back from a lot of it to be more like the streamlined FO3. But hey, this mod is more for those that liked FNV's approach, so I move on - and it seems so should you buddy.
