If I swing wildly side to side with the 3BBB Ratty version I crash to desktop. Unless it's placed already.

Might I suggest a more stable office chair? 🤣

So this is when you build one and move it around first? Interesting, I'll have to try it myself. What happens if you pick up one already placed and do it?

No the opposite. You DON'T build one and move left to right really fast like you're trying to place it until crash.

That's what I meant, you pick it the workshop menu and wave it around before placing it.
Does the same happen if you pick up one you already built and placed?
I made a version without replacing the skeleton, it's your preferred texture, you can try it and see if the skeleton is the issue, check in the miscellaneous files section.
If it still happens, it might be something to do with the physics engine itself.

Hello. I was experiencing a problem like Alundra. Where the female mannequin would crash my game.
Now, with the patch it DOES fix the problem, but I am also having problems with the Physics in my game so I don't think it's entirely fair to blame it ALL on the mannequin. I think it's safer to say that a problem may exist, but a wider pool of issues might be warranted before action.

It's a known bug. Before placement the skeleton technically doesn't exist or some wacky crap. Read Animated Mannequins, they discuss on their mod page.

Point of note here, anyone can download the version of their choice (canvas or ratty) and using winzip/7zip/winrar or whatever, simply delete 'skeleton.nif' from the zip file and then use the mod sans skeleton.

Thank you for this. Just one question, there's a conflict with this and High Heels System. Do I load this after High Heels System or before?

Hah, I install all my mods manually, so I can't say for certain. HHS is an F4SE mod though, so I'm going to say HHS before this one as this is essentially loose files.

I follow this for my load order:

If you put HHS before this one it will be overwritten. Why is it overwriting?

You included skeleton.nif, that may be why it's overwriting. Nope that's in the mannequin folder so no idea!

Not sure what kind of conflict it is, unless you have some other mannequin mod active it should be fine as it only touches the dlc05 folders.

It's working fine for me. Not sure why they're conflicting.

Can you please provide the original wood textures? And if possible can we have a non legs for days edition? :)

You've waited so long and now you want me to change it?
      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A normal legs version is easy, I just need to switch skeletons, I can do that today.
The textures? Removing the replacement skin from the folder should revert it to... something, Same with the base textures. I'll try and see what it looks like.

Weather is cold and work is slow and I'm not in an inferno, so I should be able to do more versions.

Well, now you have four to play with 😜

I wish you could pose them, even with the stock game combat poses, instead of the semi-crucified pose they have...

Hmm, it's adds over 100 mannequins to the workshop, and each one has a single animation? No thanks.
The thing had it's own skeleton in the first place, so I assume Bethesda had some sort of plan in mind, unless it just needed it for the clothes to work. I tried opposer's pose mod, but it had no effect on them. Someone should be able to figure it out, just not me.

Then use SAM. If they don't move it should stick after use from what I can tell.
