I'm going to give this a go. Since the big update my game doesn't function the same. The player's skin is always flickering, and the shadows are all pixelated (if that's the correct way of describing) like little cubes. If it's not the shadows causing this I 'll just have to battle on. Possibly a climate change mod may work but I'll give this a shot first. Cheers
As someone that does all screen-arching. I could find this very useful. There are definitely times I want to remove shadows. But times when I want them.
It would be perfect if I could turn them off and on with a BAT file though. Sounds like that's not possible.
I may have to experiment with how tedious it is to switch the INI back and forth.
And you do not say which INI to modify, or under which sub group.
the file is fallout4prefs in my games folder. Description updated. In case you want them back and forth...I think that if you copy the fallout4prefs ini and paste it somewhere else, you then modify it, and then switch files using an empty folder, you can do the trick.
