So I have been unsatisfied with Diverse Body, which depends on Body Gen, not Bodyslide. It has jank and I can't deal with that level of jank because I can't tell if crashes are caused by that or something else.

Please correct me if I'm wrong... this would allow giving custom - not random - bodies to all the NPCs. BUT, those bodies would not conform to anything created in bodyslide, right? We would need some type of converter for that. Is that right?

Yes, this allows you to pick specific bodies for every character in the game if you want. You can also assign random bodies for characters you don't encounter often. To have bodies to choose from, you need to create them in BodySlide or download body presets for your preferred body type. Then, create a templates.ini file, as explained in the YouTube video linked in the mod description. After that, it's just a matter of going through the morphs.ini file I made and manually assigning the desired body to each character. Alternatively, you can leave some entries blank, and their bodies will be randomly selected from the list of presets in templates.ini

      Cool.

Now, if I wanted to add the various rescued maidens from Commonwealth Captives, I just add their code there too (which I would need to look up in xedit), right?

Correct, but I also have a lot of mods from LL already done, though I wasn't sure if I wanted to post them here.

I made AutoBodyGen for this a while ago, it'll take a folder full of BodySlide presets and turns them into a templates.ini for BodyGen.
Working on someting for morphs.ini right now.

Hi, I got this to work today, for two NPCs. Thank you so much.

BTW, can you update or add for Commonwealth Captives? I assume it's just the NPC record number right? I could do this myself, but I think it would make this list more useful to add to it.

Do you have to go in to xedit and copy down each NPC record to make this? That's a pain. If you are committed to this though, I think the two big ones are Sim Settlements 2 and America Rising 2. And Ivy is needed, of course.

I’m glad it worked for you! Yes, I do go into xEdit and write them down. I will probably get to updating the list soon; I was already looking into adding American Rising 2 and have a few LL mods already done. I will probably update the list tomorrow.

      HI,

I figured out how to "copy" from xedit and sent you a list of the females from Commonwealth Captives and all the settlers from Settlers of the Commonwealth. I used excel and some functions to put them together into what I believe is the correct format. I added labels for the Settlers records, but not Commonwealth Captives as... they seem the same?  I recommend putting a note for the captives like:

#These are all the same but provided here so that you may give them different bodies than other female NPCs

Nice! Well looks like this might be obsolete pretty soon. RIP
