After Installing the optional file Vanilla CBBE with Vortex I got the error missing masters. CBBE.esp is not active and misssing in the esp-list. This esp was not included in the mod. I already had all requirements for the mod. Where can I find CBBE.esp?
So CBBE use new body textures as replacer for Vanilla Body textures. So outfits that shows skin that uses the vanilla mesh as base will come out all deformed. CBBE also includes a "vanilla texture" that it uses for part of the head.
What I did here is that I reuse this texture to restore the "vanilla texture" to these outfits so they no longer use the "deformed cbbe" but vanilla instead. Hence the "Applies vanilla texture override" wording.
How is RobCo patcher causing this? It would need to change something on that weapon I guess? I already encountered Laser Love issue, so I'm curious about this.
There is something with the part that patches weapons references that somehow breaks them. They end up no longer recognized by the quest and seems to lose attached scripts to them for some reason.
My solution was to create two Event Manager events that triggers once you pickup a copy of said weapon (so not specifically the broken reference), and then run a script that does whatever picking them up initially was meant to do (and more since I also tell the quests to recognize the weapons again).
Your eXoPatches are always welcomed and an instant download for me. For some of them, they've been general bug fixes, and some of them fix one specific thing--can we expect this patch to only fix this Robco Patcher issue, or do you plan on expanding this patch later on?
I do plan to do more if I find it, which is why I went for eXoPatch over RobCo Fix or similar.
But will stick to stuff that's either caused by mod conflicts like this or something that would touch vanilla which kinggath wants to avoid for conflict reasons.
One example on something I'd wanna do is make it so the raiders in Concord stop spawning inside Concord once the walls are up. Just gotta do research to make sure I get the timing right.
is there any chance the robco patcher could be causing interference in the settler quest the Ron's send you out to do. i cant get the family in the cave to do anything its stuck at follow the guy but after following he does nothing. if not no worries i am also using an alternate activation icon mod that allows you to quick trade with npc so that's my other guess the issue could be but disabling it fixed nothing.
Most likely not related. RobCo Patcher has a feature that refreshes placed weapons, which causes issues with the weapons based quests. Doesn't touch those other things.
yeah i figured pretty sure its the dynamic activation key mod but problem is even with it off he still becomes non interactable after he walks back into the house part of the cave. super bummer will have to open xedit and see if anything messed with ss2 quests.
Yeah, once I saw Gremlins little wardrobe mishap I couldn't ignore it. Made the description generic, but so far only Gremlin. Asked around but that seems to be the only obvious one so far.

Thanks in advance.
