Accidently swapped out the leveled list injection so that instead of injecting 1 gun at level 32 to 40 it would inject 32-40 on level 1. Only way to fix that is to reset the effected leveled lists, which would also reset anything else that has been injected into them.
Fixed now, but yeah. Truly sorry about this one. Added a script that gives you the choice to reset if you desire. It'll only trigger on ongoing saves.
For anyone who installed my patch in a save that already had Wattz 3000 installed prior to running my patch you'll get the popup but you can ignore it as you'll have the old injection from before the patch instead of the updated one. (Unless you want to take the chance to update to get the changes.)
Same for anyone who used Wattz Legacy Replacer in an ongoing save as well, the injection never ran there as it was using the old injection.
this gun does way too much damage in my game, like 300 damage strong, twice as strong as a .50BMG, and idk how to change damage values for energy weapons in xedit since its not the same as ballistic or melee weapons
Find the vanilla laser pistol/rifle and copy stats and then change around that. The main difference you're seeing is how laser weapons behave vs. armor, type of enemy etc. I make all my weapon mods stats around vanilla stats and then adjust accordingly i.e. my level 26 ARs will do same dmg as the vanilla AR and then later on I increase damage by 1-5 for some progression and keep up with the HP creep.
I made sure the weapon is not that far off in terms of balance vs the vanilla laser rifle though. So a bit surprised it ends up being so op. Most likely some combination between mods and the approach to how laser weapons get their damage. Which means it'd need to be patched for said mod.
Love it but.... Delayed Surprise The surprise unique will won't show up now until after level 30.
There's so many uniques that can be grabbed whenever, this change takes away player agency and feels more personal and less balancing. Great otherwise.
So the reason why I did that was due to the location. Other uniques are either harder to reach (which requires higher level) or locked behind a skill check. This one you can easily grab at level 1 if you know where it is. I'm up for other suggestions on how to deal with that one.
For now I've uploaded an optional patch that undoes that specific change.
The way it's setup though makes that very hard to do. Can't put it in a container and behind a door would mean I'd have to make a new room which is not ideal.

Noted. Exopatch for MkII.
No conversion patch since using WOP for Mk1.
Appreciate the response~
