Just uploaded version 1.1, which has a few small tweaks and a pretty major fix:

    • Changed the preview transform used by the 4-bore's ammo
    • Changed the preview transform on the gun from standard rifle to big rifle
    • Fixed the crafting recipe for the rifle so it no longer gives you 10 of the buggers
    • Reduced the base attack delay from 0.275 to 0.1

If you're updating the mod from version 1.0, it's recommended you run the console command stopquest 4BoreAddQST followed by startquest 4BoreAddQST. This should revert the formlist and then re-seed it. If you're installing the mod fresh, you don't need to do this; the quest is flagged to start immediately once the game loads, and so you should get a notification that 4-Bore projectiles are being seeded.
  2. Alright, new concept just dropped from Scott himself.

Now we need to recreate this as a muzzle attachment now that it's officially real, looks simple enough to recreate and use existing barrel textures in the mod.

Would love to see the Lego Star Wars Weapons (Like the classic blasters from the Complte Saga with automatic Option reload can just be replace the red stud)

The damage on survival is MASSIVE when fully upgraded. Very satisfying to use, not like i am overcompensating for a small penug or anything...

Dealing only 11 damage with True Damage, Scourge and Munitions installed. Any solutions?

Munitions shouldn't affect the damage, I'd suspect either True Damage or Scourge. If either have some method of autopatching mod weapons it may have treated the 4-bore as a normal rifle and changed the damage accordingly. That's my best guess though as I don't use True Damage or Scourge. You may be able to fix it with FO4Edit.

The 4-Bore in and of itself is a unique, so alas there is no suchly named 4-Bore in the mod. But nothing's stoppin' ya from naming it that yourself at the weapon workbench.

That was a Scott - Kentucky Ballistics reference - though not sure why (.50 cal rifle explosion).
      =====
Seriously though - watch the Kentucky Ballistics video(s) of the 4 Bore.
You'd need a lot more than a thumb if you were wearing 3A body armor and got shot by it:
5:35 to 7:25 in the video.
4 Bore vs 3A Body Armor
      Nuff said?    No?
      12:35 - 14:00+   vs 4 ceramic plate.    Bruh.....

Curious. Can this powerful gun be handled by others? Companions, settlers, etc.

It can be, yes. There's nothing in place stopping you from giving it to a companion or settler and having them use it. How well they'd be able to handle it, though, depends of course on their Strength.
