The increased damage mod seems to be incompatible with your alternate receivers mod. I was hoping to blend the two. I felt the base damage was way too low to begin with, and upgrading from 5mm to .308 or something isn't a very significant damage bump, even with 5/5 Heavy Gunner. Late game it just burns ammo with little to no return. By this point in the game I'm using Fusion cells, Plasma Cells, and 2mm EC, but loved how your minigun mods made a single weapon to burn up my excess ammo of other types.

I hope you can make them compatible some how.

EDIT: I just noticed under Optional Files on your Receivers mod. There's a base damage version of the mod there. I'll try that. Thanks! (Also, eager to try out the Shotgun ammo addition)

Exactly, you noticed what was bothering me as I made them two separate mods, that one value overwrites.

Glad you found the fix for it though, it was the best I could do at the time :)

Does this increase damage output for lower RPM. And would it be possible to get a 50.cal modification for the tri barrel.

Doesn't change the damage per shot, simply affects the fire rate for ammo conservation.

Using different ammo could definitely be interesting, but logistically wouldn't make very much sense because of the size of the rounds.

[This] is a good example, the twelth is the .50 cal but a 5mm round would be about the size the first couple of bullets in that list.

Actually the idea was really worth toying with, but I just realized the minigun doesn't have a receiver like other guns... couldn't even do the .38 version I was considering D:

But i did made Reciever mods: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4227/?

Offering .308 and .50 Cal chamberings.

Just pop up my Mod into FO4Edit and you could learn how i did it. Of course your mod would probably be redundant, but why not?

      Right on! :D

I was working on something that let you use the actual minigun in a crafting recipe that changed it to other versions, but if you figured out how to add a receiver section you've got my idea beaten lol :P

It could still be worth making my own version for anyone who wants to leave the gun's stats alone, or who wants .38 ammo though. After all, if any ammo can be excused for doing as little damage as the default minigun it would be the .38 right?

Please, make a version that augments damage to 250% or else it makes the triple barrel completely useless DPS wise (it already had the lowest DPS to begin with). If you add that option you're my hero, I too want a more ammo conservative minigun, but that ain't worth it if it can't kill for shit.

Personally I'm boosting the damage in other ways like the 'Explosive' legendary effect which adds 15 base dmg per shot, but I get that not everyone is going to be using the mod that lets you craft/extract legendary effects.

New optional files are added! Be warned, they change the base minigun damage to make it 'fair' since no NPCs really use the tri barrel. Enjoy :)

This makes zero sense. The fire rate is already extremely slow when compared to real miniguns, not to mention that a lighter barrel should probably rotate faster than a heavier one.
