soo, the file becomes a 7z when i download it. I assume I just need to change it to a .txt file, right?

This is a great mod for a veteran! Thank you! I go nuts the same as you collecting all this garbage only to find out I am short on copper not gears, or screws and not 10000 oil etc. Would not recommend this to a newer player as there might be too much temptation to abuse it and level up, but veterans are often so burned out of building that we make the bare minimum or at least I do lol.

No just bat materials, make sure its in the Fallout 4 folder NOT the data folder.

Very usefull for my playtesting when i get mods and want to test weapon modding, because building with TGM is unlimited but crafting isn´t. Thanks dude

For me it does not work.. The file downloads as an .7Z and when I change it to .txt by right clicking the file and going to properties it still does not work :(

You need to extract the .7z file using the 7zip program (free to download) or something similar, like winzip or winrar. Then you will receive the materials.txt  -  That is the file that you will use

I wasted an hour trying to figure out why it didn't work, then I realized that I was writing materials with a small m😅😅 now it works perfectly

    Can confirm this works perfectly.

If someone is still having problems, just copy & past the Materials.txt file from the download into your Falllout 4 folder. In my case, the path was:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4

    Done. It's that easy.

Same experience here - tried capitalization, dropping into main and Data directories, renaming to Materials.bat, etc. etc.

      Simply doesn't work.

Don't put the zipped file you downloaded into the Fallout4 directory. Unzip it first to get the materials.txt file and put that in the main Fallout4 directory. It should work fine
