This mod causes CTD animations of "skeleton.nif" randomly, with facegen enabled, it has something to do with the .nif of a specific NPC's head, when they try to do something with their lips. Unfortunately, the crash often occurs in a specific location, but not always.
22 January 2025: nvm... I've been playing for a few days without any CTD, so I'll leave it to the users, I have no idea.

Hopefully when they fix that they can also address the kill scenes, my eyes always look off to the side for those and it's a bit unsettling.

I haven't encountered a crash but I can take a look at the crashlog. Could be an incompatibility with another mod. Which NPC? Pre Next-Gen or the NG version? As for the killscenes, do you mean the player eyes?

I have only two confirmed cases of CTD after installing this mod. On my x-cell page, which added FaceGen functional. I can only say that this is not necessarily the fault of this mod, but because of a bad .nif. Also need to understand if this mod affects NPC with the Simple Actor flag. If so, the crash may be instantaneous. I'll start testing more closely later.
As soon as something new appears or me need help, I will write.
Edit: This mod Simple Actor has an effect Eyes tracking, but there is no CTD.

Whatever the actual cause may be, I stopped getting the random (but semi-frequent, especially in Downtown) skeleton.nif crashes after removing this mod. You were onto something in your testing.

I've been using this mod for since December and it hasn't crashed for me. If the issue is caused by a mod conflict, the crashes may stop when you remove any mod involved in the conflict. If you upload the crashlog to a Google Drive folder or pastebin, I can take a look at it.

You're a saint! For years I've been trying to find out more about the expressionless bug for npcs in this game, found nothing, now this comes along and fixes it! Thanks so much

Can this mod make the eyes move using the model instead of the UV map?

LarannKiar I generated facegen files for some of your mods to run with perchik71 X-cell mod. Do I have permission to share them on Nexus?

Would you ever do a mod to recruit barney rook from Salem? He'd be so cool to have in a settlement

    works great.
one of those things you don't really notice until someone fixes it then you can't help but notice.

also, how does the rustyface/brownface bug fix compares to the other one in terms of how it works? is it the same thing just minus the .esp? does it use a different/better/new method? I'm trying to judge if I should switch to this one or just keep the other.
