does this mod conflict with the ghoul kid in the fridge story wise. I killed them all trying to save the kid had Preston with me and a bit disapointed he has no reaction to the place that change his life.
Me too. After that traitorous c**t Clint got smoked and we were standing over his not-yet-cold-corpse, I was expecting Preston to say something, but he was like... whatever.
This surprised me as well. I'd have expected either the vanilla game or at least Proj Valkyrie to have added SOMETHING from Preston about being glad Clint was dead.
So I bit the bullet and got the new Gunners vs. Minutemen add-on from Creation Club. The quest is okay, a little short with no real options----very much an on-the-rails story. The power-armor paint jobs are nice, but I don't use power armor. I mostly got the add-on for the Quincy fight that was promised.
Played the whole thing. And it was dull. A few hairy moments, but all of it over in under 5 minutes. Got all the way up on the bridge and was completely bored by how little there was to do and how few enemies there were to root out. OF QUINCY. Maybe 30 guys. Maybe.
Ran this once I got on the bridge. OMG. THIS was the battle I was looking for. So many enemies. Swarms of guys and hidden guys and sniper guys and loner-surprise guys. Mr. Gutsys coming at you. SO much better fight than the CC fight.
Just out of curiosity, went back on the save and ran this from the Red Rocket location next to Quincy before going in town. That way this would run concurrently with the CC fight. THAT was epic. Highly recommended if peeps have the CC add-on. Thanks for the entertainment Thuggy!
Bat files don't work that way, but most of this battle is incorporated into the Project Valkyrie quest mod releasing in August 2018: https://youtu.be/kYmqL__fZPI?list=PLwzwv7ThZAJqFO3EehNK_W-4XCzVHAR93&t=3548
The lightsaber in the video was okay, but it could have been enhanced with the banana bat from Outcasts and Remnants. Wait a minute, did the Nexus spellchecker replace the true name of the bat with banana?!!! Sounds pretty fruity.
Thank You very much for this, fun-fun-fun, especially combined with Body Swap, and WOTC. You haven't played FO4 before You've been chased by naked, tattooed Gunners, and then in the end everyone gets blown up by a BoS gunship....hillarious!
Most of the battles in these battle mods are being incorporated into the upcoming expansion/update of Fusion City Rising: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16423/?
Peter, the 8-year old kid follower from that mod, needs help building a certain contraption. The parts for the contraption are located in various battle zones. He gives you a quest to find the parts.
The battles aren't going to be quite as intense in terms of number of initial enemies because not everyone's system can handle that, but there will be reinforcement spawns, which wasn't previously possible when using bat files.
Before MCM arrives you could consider having the settings on a terminal or even a holotape! The Pip-Boy can play terminal holotapes now so players can even spawn fights from their wrist.
