For those worried about ruining their game - please review the following steps: Edit: (works fine on v1.10.98)
Download manually and extract contents to separate folder. --> The application is named fallout4.exe - which is why you don't want to download and extract to actual game folder
Launch the Mod application
Set your current game level and sex
Apply points where desired --> Click on "Book" to apply the Bonus SPECIAL point from start of game --> Click on the SPECIAL trait to apply any points from collected Bobbleheads --> Click on EVIL mode button for infinite points
Click SAVE (or save as) and name the .rsp file --> In case you want to make changes or slightly modify your new build you can import this file --> This file is only used with the Mod application
Click BUILD and the reset.txt and run.txt files will be created --> You can close the application at this point --> You can also rename those .txt files --> The reset.txt will always be the same
Copy the 2 BUILD .txt files to the fallout4 root directory --> (where the actual fallout4.exe file resides)
If you haven't backed up your save game(s) - do this now!
Launch Fallout, load your save game, and enter the game console (~)
Type "bat reset" then "bat run" - confirm changes - Enjoy
I like to read the comments after reading the mod description and instructions just in case there's a concept I'm not grasping, something I missed, or problems people have found using the mod.
This explanation was detailed yet concise and helped immensely. Thank you.
Nice program. It working. But collected boubleheads is ignored. ================================================= Solution after tonns of trial and error. How use with all collected boubleheads (or not all): 1) Open program. 2) Enter char level, remember free amount of points (!). For ex., 50.(30 lvl) 3) Enter SPECIALS u wish. 4) Choose You`re SPECIAL book. 5) Encrease each SPEC-s by 1 which the boubleheads you have. For ex. 10. Dont touch any perks. 6) Press [BUILD]. 7) Copy both txt files from prog-folder into game root folder. 8) Edit file reset.txt if u have FarHarbor DLC. Add to the end this: player.removeperk xx0423a5 ;Scrapper (Lv.3) where xx - number of load order for DLCCoast.esm. U can find it via NNM, LOOT or Vortes. Default is "03". Save this file. 9) Edit file run.txt, which u copied. Add this to end of file: CGF "Game.AddPerkPoints" nwhere "n" is 43 (free amount of points on your char level - we have 50 minus SPECIALS from b-heads and book - we have all b-heads with SPEACIALS - 8) if u dont have free points in game. If have for ex. 3, subtruct it from 43 = 40. 10) Save file. Launch game. Load yr save. Dont open Pip-Boy (!) Use commands in console ("bat reset", "bat run") 11) Only then open Pip-boy and choose new perks what u need.
Iv'e used this mod before but I wanted to change my play style, so I did everything as before, went in the game "bat reset" then "bat run" and for whatever reason it game me my old perks when I was around level 20. I can even see in the console the perks it added and they aren't correct. But when I checked the run file in the folder it had all of the correct perks. I'm very confused about this, should I just reinstall the mod?
I used your tool only once, but already love it. So usefull to respec my char and it can also be used to plan ahead your build (go evil mode, spend the perk point you need, etc.)
But you really should rename the .exe into something else for those stupid kids who doesn't read descriptions. ;)
