      This apparent discrepancy query came up before with such mugs and I answered it then too: basically "tin" cups like these traditional ones had a hefty coating which was usually ceramic-based. So just accept whatever scrapping method is needed to get at the ceramic loses any metal.

   Love the immersion. Always bugged me how so many of those cheap, generic coffee cups were lying around.
