Looks like a nice mod but unfortunately it didn't play well in my Load Order using both Workshop Rearranged and Settlement Management Menu (SMM). In the Decorations menu I got one bit called "Decorations" just before Displays with all letters in one menu and it tanked my FPS dramatically and I also got another menu further to the right in Decorations which contained 3 fonts and the signboards...so, for now I can't use it :-/
Huh, that's very odd, as I actually use Workshop Rearranged as well with SMM and my mod and I didn't encounter this problem. My best advice would be to try uninstalling and reinstalling if you haven't already, and maybe to take a second look at your load order. If I do hear of anyone else encountering similar issues, I'll try to look into it, but as of now I can't replicate what you're encountering. Sorry for the trouble!
Tried both re-install and moving it around the LO but no success. I do have a huge LO, can't really see what would cause it but if it should work with SMM+WR then it's gotta be sth else. Maybe I'll figure it out someday, thx for clearing those two at least. I'm definetly not out to blame Your mod, just bummed I can't make it work :-/ I'm constantly looking for good signage mods and they are rare... [EDIT] I am running a downgraded version, might that be sth?
Unfortunately I'm really not sure what's going on as the latest update seems to have fixed issues and I haven't heard from anyone else with issues with the mod menus like yours. :( I'm also running the downgraded Fallout 4 version, so I don't think that's it, though it's hard to say for sure. If you do happen to figure it out I'd love to know the answer!
It's probably something on my end but I'm stumped, because this mod seems perfectly made (kudos, for a first release you should be proud, looking at it in xEdit sparks joy).... but for me all the letters are completely invisible, I just see the workshop outline shader when selecting them.
The signs are normal, and beautiful, I would keep this mod *just* for these, seriously, to use with the letters we already have and this mod, but man, your letters and symbols look so nice, I love the paint drips. And looking at the textures, it seems like this could be expanded with rather little pain, because you did all the hard work already.
I have a heavily modded game, which is why I assume it's on my end. I haven't tested it with vanilla, and though I assume it would work fine, I'll try it when I have time, simply because this totally stumps me and I have no clue what to even test.
FWIW I have put this mod at the very end of my load order (and also tried unpacking the textures just in case, but that made no difference).
I'm so sorry, I have no idea why that's happening! I did actually run into that issue occasionally in making the mod, but never with ALL of the letters - only one or two in a set wouldn't display properly, and after maybe a minute and/or restarting workshop mode, they'd show up. Please do let me know if you find it happens in vanilla as well, and if I stumble into a solution I'll absolutely get back to you.
Aside from the issues, thank you so much for the praise. :) I really debated on the paint drips, but I'm glad I did them now!
No, don't feel bad! As I said, my game is very heavily modded, included a ton of custom changes. If anything it's an indicator there's something else wrong with my load order which I didn't know about before, something no other mod managed to surface yet; I might end up being grateful for this... I generally like bugs because they lead to learning something. If I find the cause I'll report back, obviously, but since I don't really know what to try (other than making a new load order from scratch which I keep procrastinating ahem), that might just be by random chance at some point in the future.
In the meantime: the signs are really beautiful, invisible letters I don't put up don't cause any problems, so even right now I'm quite happy about this mod, and you should be proud of it! But since you never know if someone else has the same issue or knows a possible cause, I figured I'd just put it out there, just in case.
OH, brainwave! I should ask, are you using Fallout 4 original, or Next-Gen? What I might do if the latter is release another version of the BA2, packaged for Next Gen, since I believe the two do differ and that might be causing the issue. Thank you again for your help!
EDIT: I've gone ahead and uploaded a new version of the mod for Next Gen, with the textures repackaged. If folks who are having the invisible letters issue could uninstall the original and give this version a crack, and let me know if it works, that would be much appreciated. :) Thanks very much!
Downloaded the NextGen version but letters still invisible. Also, the signs I installed with the first version were fine but the NextGen version signs have the purple (missing) texture issue, which also carries over to icons in the workshop. I've wanted a mod like this for a long time, so kudos (and endorsement) QuillweaveMods for making the effort!
Dang, I was really hoping that might fix it. :( Maybe try the loose files I've uploaded now with the original mod and see if that helps? It might slow down loading the letters, but better than them not loading at all. Thank you so much for being so patient and kind despite the issues, and for the endorsement, much appreciated! If I find a more permanent fix, I will absolutely update here and let you and any others running into this problem know. :)
In the case of the pink/purple textures, thats due to the names of the ESP and BA2 being mismatched, the ESP needs to be "This is Your Sign Next Gen" to match the "This is Your Sign Next Gen - Textures" BA2 or vice versa, the BA2 needs to be "This is Your Sign - Textures" to match the ESP.
(also the invisible letters have been plaguing me too :v - so hopefully that gets fixed soon, this seems like it'd be a useful alternative to those workshop DLC letters.)
Thank you for the heads up on this! I've re-uploaded the Next Gen version after renaming the BA2, so hopefully now no pink textures for Next Gen users. :) (It doesn't seem to have updated yet on the file page as of writing this, but hopefully soon as I've gone through the file manager twice now to try and make sure.) As for the invisible letters, I'm so sorry for the trouble - I wish I knew what was causing them, but so far I'm really not sure. I'm going to try and ask around in some modding communities to see if I can figure anything out. Thank you again!
Oh, that is EXACTLY the sort of thing I'd hoped to see! I can't tell you how happy I am to hear that and to see my mod getting put to good use. Thank you so much, and enjoy!
Only two of the letters are invisible for me "T" and "U". I tried installing the non-nextgen version because the ng one gave me the purple textures. Perhaps it's something with my install or load order but I thought i'd mention it eitherway. Great mod though, gives you some great customisation ability in settlements.
Awesome, I'm glad that worked! :) I actually made the BA2s in hopes it would help people load the textures into the game more quickly since there's a lot of them but it might have been more trouble than not.

Will endorse and kudos asap.
I really hope quest modders make use of these ^_^
Esp like a raider story with the graffiti letters.
