- This is only needed for Fallout 4 Videos converted with Bink2 instead of Rad Game Tools.
Do not install if you don't need it, but it wont hurt anything.
- Contains original bink2w64.dll also.
- Extract both bink2w64.dll and bink2w64.dll.bak from archive file into your game's bin folder e.g steam path (this may vary): "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4"
- (Important!) Confirm replacement/overwrite when prompted.
- This will primarily be used for my upcoming All video 4k conversion mod and main menu replacer but is needed by anyone who makes Bink2 videos (instead of renamed .blk) for Fallout 4. Will not affect or break the game in any other way.
This will still play the original videos, all this does is add additional functionality.
Note: This is an official and confirmed working dll. It simply updates the fallout 4 codec from 1999 to 2023.

Video Conversion instructions after I make sure the file stays up.
Removal: If you need to remove for any reason, just delete bink2w64.dll and then rename the bink2w64.dll.bak file to bink2w64.dll
update: added video I converted to and then from Bink2 to show quality. Make sure you change the video to 4k when viewing. Part of my upcoming pack.
