I am new to Sim Settlements and this is 3 in a row that It simple does not import "anything" it does not show in my plans when I SPACE on the work shop and attempt to import. I am unable to scrap..well, most things like boxes, and the such.
TBH, having all of the requirements, am I missing the picture because my nose is touching the painting? Is it quest related? I just started, spoken to ol'boy, saved his ASMs, and I assume he just shoved me on toe figure it out from there.
Please accept my humble apologies for only being able to attend to my mods on weekends, after work, because this is my hobby. However, we must respectfully decline any further interaction you, and wish you only the best of luck in finding a modder willing to perform to your exacting standards. May your days be as pleasant as you are.
For some reason, the floorplan isn't clearing out properly. For example the oval frozen food coolers don't scrap out, so pathing is broken badly, and the shelving units where the armory builds make that impassible too.
Am I missing a mod or plugin that would be necessary to completely clear the space?
No additional scrapping mods are required. It is odd that it isn't scrapping right for you. I haven't tried it with the updated settlement yet. I'll put that on my todo list. For now, try using the workshop scrapping function from the workbench and see if that removes the extra items that didn't scrap.
Trying both the "Rebuild" and "Scrap Settlement" don't seem to get rid of them.
I now suspect this has nothing to do with your city plan. Interestingly I can't click on the coolers in a console, either, though I can't think of any other conflicting mod that I could have loaded that would be overriding the "Super Duper Mart Settlement" prerequisite (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/89313?tab=posts). So, taking this post over there...
They are not Satanic symbols. That's my flag, with my name on it. Yagisan - Mr Goat. In any case, they are dynamic flags, so at the city planner desk, select whatever flag you like from the pop up menu. Obviously I'll use my own flag for the screen shots.
You can definitely see where people might think it's a Satanic symbol, considering it's identical aside from the characters around the goat head lol. Really great looking settlement tho! Much better than I can do.
That said - is the settlement loaded ? Does it work correctly without a city plan ? You can see it on the map? supply lines work?
Sim Settlements 2 takes care of showing valid city plans. This is basically a data pack for it. A quick checklist of things to try. You have claimed the settlement ? You have a city plan leader assigned to the settlement ? You have not set the location to be an outpost ? Have you tried to reset the Sim Settlements caches? there are option in the holotape to try that.
I made it the first settlement I set the beacon at but Jake isn't showing up, is that supposed to happen? Edit: It's also saying I'm missing SS2 Settlement Management Terminal.esp.
SS2 Settlement Management Terminal.esp It's odd it says you need this, as it wasn't part of the design. I'll check the build files, and if it's there, I'll release an update soonish.
As for Jake, I've never recruited him at this settlement, but from experience it sometimes takes him a while to get to far off places (Like Far Harbour or Nuka World ..) - I did notice while testing this settlement that the quickest way to get settlers to appear was to leave it and return. Give that a try.
