1st i asked you permission to use your assets/mods for a retexture pack and you messaged me back saying yes that i could, 2nd some of the textures in your mods i either replaced or removed do to some conflicts with other mods, 3rd all other mods authors i asked them the same, to use their assets for a retexture pack and i would give them credits as the original creators of the mod and link back to their respective mods i asked permissions and were granted, 4th the donation points on this pack are turned off, if you want me to take your mods of the pack no problem but i never made any patch/mod without asking permission from their creators first.
Ffs, that was you? Sorry, I completely forgot your nickname. Bloody hell, I take it back. I'll have to write your names down somewhere in my notes. Once again sorry!
It's a problem when one forgets, but I learned something today. To write down the bloody things I need to know. I changed the permissions, but it doesn't apply to you. Everything is OK. Back to modding. Good thing it was all explained in a few minutes by your quick reply :D
An input about obtaining permissions from mod authors for mods like these... It's justifiable that mod authors react the way they might when they see these, so it's just the nature of what you might have to deal with.
Either way, make sure permissions are always as sorted out as you can, and hopefully that reduces problems.
To mitigate those issues i've uploaded the prints of the permissions on the media section and any further textures added will be acompanied by photos of the permissions will be added as necessary, it was a simple misunderstanding that was quickly solved.
But i apreciate your advice zelldralsoni and also your work as well, this pack was made with the intention of complementing your own pack.
Note: Excellent group of mods a lot of us use, (sadly though if you use AAF the supermutant retexture will cause you issues.) Everything else is great though. Nice work.
Thats a bit of an issue considering many people use AAF, i'll make a version without the supermutant retexture and put it in the optional files today. Thanks for letting me know.
oh wow! bro thx. I didn't wanna ask because I appreciate what is. Very happy to hear this. (i literally just installed everything from the source urls you provided to still enjoy the build, but will absolutely trade them out for an AAF friendly version.)
