I like the idea of this mod, and I like the melee/unarmed version of the damage bonus. I feel the Damage resistance bonus is OP'd though, would prefer a nerfed version of that too (I can do that myself, but just mentioning because others might be interested too). Also, logically, a "pain inhibitor" wouldn't increase damage resistance: you'd ignore the pain but still get hurt. I don't know how easy it would be to implement, but I think a cripple reduction would make more sense: you'd still get hurt but you wouldn't be limping around (because you'd be ignoring the pain). Just some thoughts, nice job regardless.

A resistance to limb damage type of thing?

The Pain Inhibitor effect is based on med-x just as the Limb Actuator effect is based on psycho.

While I sort of agreed that the 25% damage increase was a little OP, there are several armors that are higher than 25 DR including Kellogg's which also offers energy resistance.

I will probably make a lower version later though.

Gawl, I don't think that's how Fallout 4's armor system works. I'm pretty sure that it uses a reverse-exponential system to determine damage values, and it's why the difference in armor values becomes less significant the higher those values are. It's also why power armor isn't completely broken. It's closer to 14% reduced damage (or at least around there) for an item with 25 DR, whereas PA sets only go for around 50% to 60% reduced damage, even though the values are several factors higher. It's a stupid system and I much prefer NV's simple subtraction system.

So, really, a permanent 25% flat reduction in damage taken is pretty OP.

Hey didn't this used to be on the Bethesda mod site as well as here? I though this was available on the xboxone? Did I just imagine that?

This may have been available for a bit, but there was also another, more refined mod that did the same thing: Kellogg's Cybernetic Implants. You might be remembering that one. It got taken down a while ago for some odd reason.

I never understood why they wouldn't let us take these and implant them in ourselves, fantastic mod. My main gear is Kellogg's Armor and Gun, so these really do make the Sole Survivor "The New Kellogg".

I'm in doubt between Optional 3 and Optional 5...

I can't believe a mod like this exists... This is fantastic! More than simple immersion, it makes useless pieces so much useful... This is a must-have mod for anyone.

    Congratulations.

    I really like mealyman's option.
Would it be possible for you to make that? Or is there any way i could change this myself?
Fantastic idea by the way, making these useful.

Do we need both the main and the optional?

I believe the pain inhibitor was intended to reduce limb damage by 20%, and the limb actuator eliminate fall damage, originally. At least that's what some research has indicated. Very cool and simple mod. Highly underrated. Endorsed!

Hey cool! I posted a mod request on the forums about these leftover Kellogg bits.

Check it out and see if some of my ideas can be worked into your mod

Oh! More updates! I'm glad to see this mod. I'm hoping with the CK there can be more done with it.
    Spoiler:

Possibly having this done at the Memory Den, or after finding research within the Institute, their computers are full of research notes about Kellogg, specifically Fathers'.

I've already downloaded and endorsed. I've been wanting to make a character that is cybernetic, but just haven't found the right mods for it yet. This is a good start, and I'm keeping a look out for more!

So I'm not the only one who was disappointed to find useless cybernetic mods in Kellogg's inventory. Great mod. It's nice to see the modding community build this game into what it should be.
