Not an issue or bug, just an observation; every time I install one of your wonderful texure overhauls, Vortex insists there is a required priority amongst your other texture mods. The Dentist and Gentlemen's kits are the usual suspects. The good news is Vortex don' seem to give a sh*t what order I put them in, the need to do so is what caught me off guard
You are absolutely right, this is not an issue or bug. These are just same cubemaps (my own). Since I'm using cubemaps that I've created myself, I'm forced to add them to each of my mods where they're needed. So Vortex is just telling you that cubemaps from one of my mods overwrite the same cubemaps from my another mod. This is absolutely normal, it is not a bug, not a problem, not an issue, not a conflict. This is a absolutely normal phenomenon that does not affect anything. Load order really doesn't matter.
...I install one of your wonderful texure overhauls...
I don't have any "texture overhaul". I don't do retextures at all. I don't have any textures replacer/overhaul mods. Anyway thank you for feedback
Thats a common occurrence with Vortex. I think HF mods use the same textures so technically it doesn't matter what order they're in. If you use Vtaw clothing and outfits you will run into the same thing when installing their mods as well.
Technically speaking a cubemap is a texture because it encapsulates visual data in a format applicable to a three-dimensional surface, with a specific function (capturing or simulating entire environments) and is treated as such in most graphics APIs. But I understand why you emphasize going for the specific type of texture it is, in this case.
@UDeletionQuality Absolutely right. Technically, a cubemap is an image file, so technically it could be called a texture. However, in the context of our discussion, the term "texture" was referring to a diffuse map (color map). Not a cubemap.
I love all of your remodels and am using all of them. Do you happen to have an All-in-One for them by any chance? I wasn't able to find one on your profile.
Goddamn, Halffaces, I love your mods so much! I hope people give you enough feedback so you can understand how much we appreciate what you do. I (and, I think lots of people) can't imagine my game without your high quality models after I discovered them for myself. Thank you very much and I hope you'll continue to do what you are doing for the community!
How long do these projects take you? The quality of your mods are phenomenal but with how quickly you're cranking them out it feels like you have an entire team behind you working with you?
It depends on the complexity of the model. Creating simple primitive meshes takes a little time. However, the more complex the mesh (shape), the more time I spend on modeling it. Usually, I spend 3-4 days on creating one medium-complexity model + textures for it.
it feels like you have an entire team behind you working with you?
I'm really glad that you like my work 😊 Thanks a lot!
for retexturing something no one else would think of
remodeling 😁😁😁 I have never retextured anything. I don't have any retexture mods. I don't make retexture mods because I don't like it, I'm not interested in retexturing other people's models at all.
I like where your head is at with the trash bin, but I think the bars being cuboids instead of cylinders would look much better. As it stands your model makes it look like more of a cage than a trash bin. Good stuff though.
... I think the bars being cuboids instead of cylinders would look much better.
This is your personal opinion. You have that right.
I like where your head is at with the trash bin...
It's not my head 😁😂😄😁 This is Cait!

I don't know exactly what shape of trash bin are common in your country. However, I worked for many years in different companies in different offices, and I had a lot of trash cans near my desks. In my country, there are trash cans with both cuboids bars and cylindrical bars. From my own experience, I can assure you that trash cans with cylindrical bars are more common in my country, and I personally like it much better. So I made this particular model. As an author, I can do whatever I want with my mods. Any shape I like. This is my choice. And this is my personal right.
I am very sadly that you don't like my choice... If you don't like my trash bin, then after installing this mod you can delete TrashcanMetalOffice01.nif and related texture files from the install folder. By doing this, you will be using only my radiator. The trash can in your game will remain vanilla, with flat (not cylindrical) bars and will not look like a cage for you.
I'm not trying to bash your mod or anything, I was just saying what might make it work a little better in my opinion. Like you said, it is just my opinion, but I'm not sure why you took it the way you did. Anyway, I'm not asking you to make any changes and I even said twice that I liked the mod, "I like where your head is at" and "Good stuff though.", so again I'm not sure why you took this so negatively. Sorry if I'm misinterpreting what you intended, it just seems like you were reacting a little strongly to a small critique of your trash bin model.
As I said, this is your opinion and you have every right to it. Every person in the world has the right to their own opinion, including me. That is why I make my mods guided only by my own opinion. And I have the right to disagree with you that someone else's opinion can make my mods better. This is a mistake. Someone else's opinion can never make the work of the author, who puts his soul, feelings and love into his creations, better. Someone else's opinion, subjective criticism, will always make this work much worse. Because the work done according to someone else's opinion and unfounded criticism will be done without a soul, without love, without feelings, without desire and creative inspiration. This was just my personal opinion. Do not take this as negativity or offense. This is just an exchange of opinions. In any case, thank you for your comments. I always welcome feedback from users. 🙂

Not textures. Same cubemaps.

I don't have All-in-One. Don't try to find it.
