I used it with a non zeroed body with good curves and had good results. So you can decide what to do with it. But to stick close to the intented use. Use a zeroed body.
And alternative can be to use the "Unique Player" mod for your players body and zeroed sliders for NPC's.
Rubberduck 001 made a script to make it work with your own female body and deduct that from the sliders. This so you don’t have live with a random or zeroed body or use unique player.
give it a go! Usage at own risk.
“ I did a thing... It'd be done sooner, but I had to pick up my car from the mechanic due to almost failing MOT earlier today.
Keep in mind, I'm using MO2 and as such the script was written with that in mind. I have no idea how Vortex or other mod managers work (so your mileage may vary).
What it does is... complicated, but in essence there are 3 options to choose from:
Find and copy preset XMLs - speaks for itself. You need to provide 2 paths: mods and overwrite paths and it will search for all XMLs in appropriate directories and copy them to dir_where_script_is/copied_presets_bodygen/mods and dir_where_script_is/copied_presets_bodygen/overwrite respectfully. I had to do this to get all the body presets from various mods in one (two) directories so I can select the ones I want for BodyGen.
Modify templates.ini - this is the real deal. It asks for a path to your generated template.ini and morphs.ini files, as well as the path to your default body preset (XML). It then reads the provided default body XML and modifies the templates.ini file accordingly.
For example, you have slider A. In your default body preset (XML) that slider is set to 50. However, one of the presets in templates.ini has the same slider set to 100. Because the base body (your XML) starts at 50, this slider will be modified to 50 as well. So it will appear as the slider is 50, when in reality it'd be 100 (base 50 + extra 50 from that other preset).
I genuinely can't explain this better, I only today decided to give BodyGen a shot.
Rename & fix XMLs - you comrades can ignore this. I had a bunch of presets whose names started with '#_' so all this does is get rid of that in both the file name and the XML itself. Just something for my OCD.
Hopefully this proves useful to you guys! If I made a mistake somewhere, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know!
Hi Lorddkkr, thank you for making this fascinating mod! I enjoy playing with this mod for several days, until today I met some difficulties, that when enter the save the character grows fatter for no reason. Although it can be adjust back to normal by slide the bar in the looksmenu's advanced section, it keep reset the character to the fatter version everytime I restart the game, and this is kinda annoying. I tried approaches like rebuild the bodyslide and zeroed every clothes and bodies, but it doesn't seems solving the problem.
p.s.: I have the Family Planning Redux mod enabled, is that possible that the morphing function affect this mod? I tried to disable the mod but the problem still exists so I'm not sure.
I generated 3BBB in Bodyslide and it worked but upon uninstalling a skeleton mod I tested (ZaZ), all the females including me (player) have the 0 slide body. I tried reinstalling this + the morph files but it still persist.
love the mod Bro. Been working great super easy. Question. is there a way to install these in looks menu so you can quick change a npc's or settlers body .. say you get a settler you dont like the shape and just want to change it to another. like a preset. i know you can change them up with the LM slider but that takes to long and the game sometimes crashes before finished. anyway hope that made sense.
been trying to get this working but all the characters are using the zeroes sliders build, I have followed all the pinned posts and have all the requirements and the correct load order so I am not sure why0
Is there a guide for how to set this up and use? I've read through the comments, got all the requirements, and followed the pinned posts about zero'd sliders. But I cant figure out how to make this work.
can't get this to appear in game. followed all the steps. is it because i'm not running ng? or maybe incompatible with a mod? i've checked the obvious and i don't have anything that modifies bodies besides fusion girl and bodytalk. i've removed all my mods and started anew with just this running and still nothing. hoping i dont have to do a complete reinstall of my game, pls help
thank you for your time. I went through the steps again and realized I missed an important part. For anyone else in the future—make sure you follow all the steps provided by Zed140 carefully. Don’t skip anything!
I am having trouble getting this to fire in game. I have followed all the steps. Maybe I'm missing some specifics:
-When building the body in bodyslide; does it matter if the it is CBBE Body vs CBBE Body Physics? -When I batch build the outfits do I need to have the "build morphs" box checked?
Yeah, still not working for me. Going to pause and wait for a tutorial or hints from others. At this point I am more eager to solve the mystery as to why it's not firing.
Appreciate your prior response and thanks making the mod.
I have to say it's quite mysterious for me too... I don't know bodystudio well, just want some variety and immersion ingame. What should I do in Bodyslide studio to have variety ingame? I installed BodyConvert and your mod but it doesn't look to works, feels like I should do something specific with the bodyconvert.exe or bodyslide studio? Thanks alot
so I went to bodyslide, chose CBBE body, put all sliders to zero, then checked the box bottom left corner, batch build all, it seemed to work, but ingame they all have the same body
Cool work. And I would find this just as I completed my own tailoring of Body Convert. This would have saved me loads of time had I found it sooner lol.
You may want to list Lookmenu and Body Outfit and the Reqs area along with CBBE and Fusion girl as optional.
1) Because they are. But as BodyConvert has them as Reqs, everyone will end up downloading them anyways even if you do not list them here specifically.
2) It will get this mod linked to those pages. If the enter the description field right it could lead others to your work so that they do not wander the wilderness like we did :-D.
Hi, I am very new to modding or using mods. How do I get the morphs.ini, which seems to be quite important to randomize over all NPCs? Currently, nothing is working for me.. Maybe someone could help me out, maybe I am doing something wrong.
The author has a file of Morphs ini on the "Files" page. You can download it from there using your Mod Manager. You will need it and on of the Template files that matches the Body mod you are using CBBE or Fusion Girl. You can also find them for Atomic Beauty and Jane Bod elsewhere.
Yes, this works on NG. I am not using this mod specifically but I do use all the foundation mods that this mod serves as an interface for, Aka LooksMenu (BodyGen).

Zeroed sliders is advised for the best results!

Anyways, you can get the script here: github link

sometimes things like this happen and i think if you generate it works again
I'm running it on NG but not sure if that is the culprit.. might be though.

Did you first build all the body's and all the clothes in bodyslide for CBBE with zeroed sliders?
If so, you just have to unstall this and the main mod and you are good to go.
so I went to bodyslide, chose CBBE body, put all sliders to zero, then checked the box bottom left corner, batch build all,
