The Battles of Lexington and Concord

Ever feel like Concord and Lexington are a bit emptier than they should be? Not anymore.

This mod lets you spawn a mix of Raiders, Gunners, Super Mutants, Ghouls, and a few creatures to create an epic battle in both Lexington and Concord.

There are 4 batch files included in the download. Install all four in your main game folder and you can choose in-game which to run:

Lexington.txt: bat Lexington console command spawns 168 bad guys at several dozen spawn points across Lexington.

LexingtonLight.txt: bat LexingtonLight console command spawns 84 bad guys instead of 168 in Lexington.

Concord.txt: bat Concord console command spawns 157 bad guys at several dozen spawn points across Concord.

ConcordLight.txt: bat ConcordLight console command spawns 78 bad guys instead of 157 in Concord.

Warning: If the regular bat Lexington or bat Concord command is causing your game to lag or crash, try bat LexingtonLight or bat ConcordLight. My rig handles the regular bat Lexington and Concord commands just fine on a GTX980, i7 4790k CPU with 16GB Ram,
but it depends on what your CPU/GPU can handle. I recommend starting with the light versions to make sure your game can handle it.

FAQ:

Q: How to install?
A: Download manually. Place all four .txt files into your game folder where Fallout4.exe is located (not your data folder). For people using Steam the folder is usually Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4.

Q: How to uninstall?
A: Remove the four text files from your game folder.

Q: How to generate the enemies?
A: Using Lexington as an example, travel to Lexington, open the console using the ~ key, and type bat Lexington without the quotes, then hit enter and exit the console. The enemies will appear in a few seconds at several dozen spawn points, including rooftops, across the city.

If you want half as many enemies to spawn instead, type bat LexingtonLight.

Q: How is this different than using player.placeatme console command?
A: The player.placeatme command places all the enemies right in front of you. This mod strategically places the enemies at dozens of spawn points across the city to make the battle more interesting, last longer, and reduce the probability of getting killed right away.
It also generates the enemies with one command rather than fifty.

Q: Does this mod require any other mods?
A: No. But some other mods are likely to add to your enjoyment of this mod. See Recommended Mods list below.

Q: Will the enemies attack each other?
A: Yes, different factions will attack each other, otherwise you wouldnt survive long. Save your game before you generate the enemies. There is a good chance of dying during these battles.

Q: How long does each battle last?
A: Depends on your weapons, number of companions, etc. For me it usually lasts 5-10 minutes.

Q: The mod is too hard/easy, can you make it harder/easier?
A: Without GECK and without quadrupling the number of bat files, the most practical method is just to temporarily adjust the in-game difficulty settings. A character with level in the low teens should be able to handle this on the "very easy" setting. The character in the video is level 62 playing on "survival" difficulty.

Q: Can you make this mod for other areas or settlements as well?
A: Im open to suggestions. Already made a mod like this called Monster Battle Royal at Spectacle Island if youre interested. Sanctuary Hills, Jamaica Plain, Sunshine Tidings Co-op, West Everett Estates, or certain areas of downtown might work well for this type of battle as well.

Q: Will this corrupt or crash my game?
A: There is no .esp file with this, just .txt files that place enemies in the world space, so it wont corrupt your game. However the game engine has a limit to how much stuff can be going on at once, and the quality of your rig also matters. If the regular bat Lexington or bat Concord commands
are causing problems, try the bat ConcordLight or bat LexingtonLight commands. Dont enter the console commands until youre in the city, or everyone will already be dead when you get there.

Recommended mods (none of these are required):

Settlement Raiding Mod: This lets you generate Raiders, Gunners, Brotherhood of Steel, etc. to attack your settlements. I highly recommend SRM because it features corpse cleanup so the bodies disappear quicker,
which will help your performance/FPS if you replay the mod repeatedly in succession. Also, if you like this mod, chances are you'll love SRM.

Personal Jetpack, or any mod that adds a jetpack. If you get surrounded by too many enemies, sometimes the only way to avoid dying is to fly out. Flying from rooftop to rooftop is also pretty fun, makes the battle 3-dimensional instead of 2D.

Unlimited Companions, or any mod that lets you have more than one companion.

Awesome Armor Effects, or any mod that lets you auto-inject stimpaks, because sometimes you forget until its too late.
