After following REACTOR ENB’s installation instructions, your image quality should be fairly good. BUT there are some additional things you can do to accelerate image quality and experience exponentially.
1: Turn off TAA and follow the install from Fallout 4 Upscaler - DLSS FSR2 XESS to use DLAA instead. This removes all smearing from TAA and tremendously improves image quality in motion.
2: Turn off both ENB and FO4 implementations of v-sync and enable v-sync for FO4 in Nvidia Control Panel.
3: As an aside, I use a program called Lossless Scaling which generates fake frames on top of games to make them much smoother. The result with FO4 is mind-blowing and allows me to get insane framerates throughout most of the game and endure the Boston FPS drops. The program costs $7 on Steam, but is well worth it for more than just FO4.
Of course :) Basically because the preset is designed around not having godrays. Godrays look like absolute garbage in FO4, which is why L00ping removed them in NAC X. But we still want the water LOD fix from Luxor's NAC X Water LOD God Rays Fix and Enhancements which adds the ugly godrays back
Already Configured a few NAT preset to make it more glommy. THIS IS STILL THE BEST ENB PRESET I EVER INSTALL ! <3 Good for my Wolfcut female preset character (Left) and Piper (Right)
"THE MOD IS AMAZING, EXCELLENT, BUT I HAVE A QUESTION. IS THERE A WAY TO MAKE THE NIGHTS HAVE FEWER CLOUDS? I ASK BECAUSE I’VE NOTICED THAT THERE ARE ALWAYS CLOUDS AND I CAN’T SEE A CLEAR NIGHT, MOSTLY BECAUSE OF THE MOD 'Visible Galaxy 4k and Framework'."
Thank you for the kind words! I'm sure there is a way to make nights have fewer clouds, but you'd have to edit the actual NAC X weathers via the Creation Kit and xEdit, something which I have no experience doing. I usually just switch the weather to Clear or Clear Sky during the night via a hotkey with the MCM.
Hey! I have done your preset and my FO4 looks incredible now! I have noticed that for some reason the textures on tires and junk piles look almost see through though. I'm not sure how to include a screenshots so you can see it. Is it something on my end? Should I try reinstalling the mods and enb files totally? Thanks for the preset!
Hey! Post your screenshot here and post the link to it here so I can take a look. You could post your modlist too if you wanted to and I could take a look.
https://imgur.com/a/RwNrroP here's the link to my two screenshots. It could 100% be something in my mod list as I'm new to modding but it only does it on your preset, not on the default reactor enb. I'm not sure how to export my modlist from vortex directly but it's mostly texture, weapons, and gameplay mods but I'm sure there's a conflict somewhere that messes with tires somehow. Hard to keep track of them all.
That is a side effect of having complex parallax enabled. Unfortunately, there are a small number of items it breaks in the game including tires and junk piles. I suspect that having a parallax enabled texture for each of those items would fix it, but I haven't found any on the Nexus for those objects. If you want to get rid of it completely, you'll have to turn off complex parallax either in-game or in the "enbseries.ini":
Hello, for some reason I don't know why, but in all weather with a bit of fog, I have flickering.
Explanation, when I look in different directions, part of the fog disappears and reappears... I changed the enb with Reactor and I don't have this problem anymore.
I don't understand, I would like to keep your enb but this problem is really annoying. ( I have installed all the required mods and my installation is correct. )
I tried every possible way to solve this problem and I didn't succeed. I think it's an enb problem because when I disable your enb the fog problem disappears. I would like to know if you could share all of your enb files with me to see if the problem persists. (I've already downloaded Reactor more than once, I don't think the creator will be angry ^^)
Hey, if you wouldn't mind, go ahead and send me your mod list with something like this so I can take a look. I do not have this issue, so it's got to be a conflicting mod or something else.
It would be easier if you send me your enb files so I can test it right away. In case that doesn't solve the problem, I'll send you my mod list, but I'm pretty sure none of them can conflict with your enb.
Might be a dumb question but since I can't find a straight answer anywhere im goa ask here. If I'm using the last gen version of the game which version of enb should I use for your preset? enb .501 or .496? The way it's worded on the official enb page confused me.
Your mod looks good and so decided to test out. I installed and the needed mods but I everything is black. Changed some setting but could not figure out what is happened! Could you suggest what it could be!
Hi! Thanks for your reply! I have not played for a while so slow in reply. Yes the ENB menu comes up. I use Mod oganizer 2 to mod my fallout folder! Do you mean Where fallout is installed? I use ENB and no problem with NatX before.

This preset is absolutely wonderful, thank you for sharing it with us.
However I don't understand why we have to deactivate the godrays of NAC X Water LOD God Rays Fix and Enhancements, what's the point of doing that ?
