When the sounds are more distinct, cycling between just two creates a noticeable, unnatural repetitive pattern. To make it feel more organic, you could add a third, less distinct sound as a middle ground between the two (perhaps the vanilla sound with normalized volume) and randomize when they play. I noticed your similar mod for weapons uses more than two sounds, which works well, but this one currently falls short for me.
Yes, it is certainly unnatural if you play a lot of sounds in a row, but in many cases you are only retrieving one or two pieces of equipment, so the repetition should not sound as unnatural as it does in the video when actually examining the enemy's body.I believe this mod replaces vanilla, which is the same reason why there are fewer types of vanilla sounds.
