It's a simple plugin, it's independent of your game version. .dll files (Among other things) are what makes a mod version dependent, mine doesn't have any
Ok will try the standalone version to see if that will work for me. As far as I know, I do not have any mods intentionally downloaded to change the rings and we all know that sometimes a mod changes things unintentionally at times so that could be my issue. Will post if the standalone works for me soon. Then I am going to try to figure out the unintentional change from whatever mod changes the ring record. Any ways my hats off to you for making the rabbits foot actually good for something after all. Might take me awhile to track down the problem mod because the Luck Rabbit Foot never worked for me any ways.
Ok yes sir It was my mistake and to my surprise it is definitely a mod I downloaded and completely forgot about. Thank god for Vortex search keywords which made that rather easy. Taking my own foot out of my mouth at the moment will give your mod a try again and then post the outcome!
Not shure why but you have to wear both rings to get the total bonus that you claim which is not what you posted! Infact the spouse ring is still the original name !
For me the ring isn't renamed or anything & shows no indicator of the stat boosts. When I swap from my own ring to the other wedding ring & then close & re-open inventory I can see the +3 luck boost.
MrJanglies, far as your issue is concerned, the boost is handled through Perk and Spell records, while the rename (And ONLY the rename) is done through the Ring's ID. If you have a mod overwriting the Ring's Record then the name will be whatever it's being overwritten by but the stats will be there. The XP boost isn't indicated anywhere (You just have to math that out through your XP gain per kill with and without the ring, same as the lucky foot). You should have a Plus sign next to your Luck in your Stats/PipBoy though, which you've already confirmed.
I've uploaded a standalone version which doesn't touch the Spouse's Ring, should minimize conflicts, other than that, you should be able to resolve conflicts on your own.
I specifically checked the ring, it was renamed. I'll have to go back and double check, thanks for the report. Try it at the bottom of your Load Order maybe? It's possible you have other mods editing the spouse ring? In which case I can look into making a standalone ring instead of replacing the Spouse's Ring.
Yep I just tested this, the mod works as intended, you likely have conflicts, which, I as a mod author can't help you with, that's for you to resolve. What I can say is
Use xEdit and see what's overwriting the FormIDs 0007C70C, XX035E71 and XX048FCA (Replace XX with Nuka World's Load Order)
In your other comment you mentioned having to wear both rings to get the total bonus, you can't wear multiple rings in the vanilla game, which leads me to believe you're using some mods that likely conflict or atleast change some records around, I'd start there far as conflict resolution is concerned.
Before you report a mod as not working, please make sure it's actually the mod and not conflicts on your end :)
Edit; I've uploaded a standalone version which doesn't touch the Spouse's Ring, should minimize conflicts, other than that, you should be able to resolve conflicts on your own.
