To anyone having Issues: this is my first mod and im not 100% sure i uploaded it correctly, the mod is however avalible in bethesda.net and i employ downloading it there as it works without issue there
hi, very good idea and decided to try it. sorry english is not my native language. Playing pre-NG version but there is something i don't understand. the .ba2 file has inside 2 .xwm audio files: Music\re2Ambiance\RE2saveor.xwm Music\re2Ambiance\Resident Evil 2 Remake Save Room Extended 15 min.xwm however the .esp file is a dummy file, it has no reference or any record in it.. its empty. so how is it supposed to work to play those 2 audio files in Home Plate? should have some kind of record that overwrites the vanilla audio values in that location right? but it doesnt
Another measure would be extract the .ba2 file and repackage it, but make sure when you repackage it, make sure the compression setting is at 'none'. From what I read on the internet and from my own personal experiences of packing .ba2 files, audio files won't work if the .ba2 files are compressed.
Hope this helps.
To extract .ba2, use "Bethesda Extract Archiver" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78/
To package, use the 'Archive2' program. If you are on old-gen, use this following program to ensure the packaged .ba2 files are patched to work with 'old-gen' https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/82114
