What about merchant inventories that are accessible through multiple NPCs, like Percy and Myrna, or Scarlett and Vadim? Would you get double the merchant inventory loot if they both die?
And what about the aspiration legendary items that are sold by most vendors? Will the corresponding ones also be added to the vendors' corpse?
I haven’t tested it, but I think one side will end up empty until the shop items are restocked because they share the same merchant chest. I added code to check and include the vanilla script for Aspiration Legendary, but I haven’t verified it.
That’s a good idea. Currently, I’m playing Fallout London, so it’s difficult to add and test the feature right now. If it’s feasible, I’ll update it next time.
I have inserted code to prevent CTD even if the ESP is removed, but I haven’t been able to test it yet. This mod ensures that settlement merchants do not drop their items upon death, and the ESP includes a note informing about this. Please download the file from the link, remove the ESP, and then kill a settlement merchant to check if a CTD occurs. Let me know in the comments if it works.
The ESP file contains only a note that you get when you kill the settlement merchant. However, if the ESP is missing, the game will crash to desktop (CTD) when you kill the settlement merchant because it cannot retrieve the form for the note.
