I'd recommend any modern weapon replacer by Cyanide for beginners. For a more custom experience and if you are good with xedit try Omega42's Boston Armory Project. The Boston Armory Project allows you to edit gun mods you want into what faction you want leveled lists. I personally use Omega42's Boston Armory Project.

Greatly appreciate your work!! love the western operator and shadow company overhauls! now adding this for the bandits and replacing the laser muskets for the western op minutemen has elevated my playthrough to exactly what I was going for!
Awesome ! I've been wanting something like this. Finally the sole survivor isn't the only one completely kitted-out in the commonwealth ! Looks awesome when paired with mods which 'modernize' the Gunners too !
If you do add more factions in the future, I would love to see someone give love to the Rust Devils and the Nuka Gangs !

I think they look perfect with this (even though KB-47’s overhaul is my go-to choice)
